Q: How does this class action lawsuit work for investors who bought or owned this stock between Nov 15/14 and July 10/15. If i owned and bought this stock during this period, am i entitled to be involved in this settlement, and what do i have to do? These dates were on the Siskins law firm website.
Q: Hi team,
Is the worst over for HCG and CRH? Or it is better to stay away for a bit longer?
If you had money to invest would you consider any of them at this time and what weight would you give it? Or would you put the money in another stock? Like what?
I am a growth investor and can take on moderate risk.
Thanks as always!

Q: Hello,
I have some cash in my TFSA. My return in this account has not been good.
I am looking to invest in a growth stock. Of all of these stocks I listed, which one would you recommend for me to invest in?
And if there is a better stock, which would you recommend?
Thank you.

Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: Good Morning;
I have sold a put at $15 on HCG maturing to-day. Do you think it is wiser to buy back the position to close the contract or to accept the assignment? The key consideration, of course, is whether the recent decline in HCG, in spite of Buffet's intervention, is likely to reverse any time soon (say in the next 6 months). I would appreciate your crystal ball reading here! Thanks for this excellent service you are providing.
Bob.

Q: Do you know if the chicken egg rancher from California is still shorting the stock and if he is still putting out reports that the company is financial fraud, or is mission been accomplished.
Q: An ex-client of HomeCapital who has made a few posts on Twitter has been saying that Home Capital illegally over-charges customers in trouble. Something about a section 8. Could you look at the statement shared in this tweet and tell us what you think? It seems unbelievable that clients could have been over-charged by tens of thousands of dollars without this having surfaced in the news before now. Apparently management has not answered questions regarding this. Truely, this story is turning into a mystery novel. Thanks.

Q: for my sons RESP can I get your opinion of the 3.25% 5 year GIC being offered by Home Capital? The amount is far below the $100,000 threshold.
Is a safe 3.25% a reasonable rate of return for an RESP that I need in 5 years time? Alternatively, would I be better to off with the investment strategy your team outlined which would have a higher potential yield but principle risk.
Your thoughts are appreciated,
Don

Q: what happens to hcg stock after the buffett investment, which is at a discount to the cureent price. dave
Q: Would you recommend oaken gic if we remain under the $100k threshold ?
Would both account be cdic insured if we invest say $80k in a 1 year gic and $80k in a 2 year gic ? Thank you.

Q: If I were to buy a GIC from Home Capital under 100000, what would happen if they went broke? I understand that the GIC is insured, but for how long would the money be tied up while all the paperwork gets done? And I guess I wouldn't get interest during that time?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Oaken is offering 5 year 3.10 GIC.
I will have under 100k
I cannot see a downside.
CDIC insured.
What am I missing?

Q: With today's carnage on Bad and last weeks HCG and the fact that it is done from the States makes it obvious that shorting on the Canadian side is a lot easier and as you say without regulatory control. What makes it different in the States and why is it not here?
Q: Question relates to the current short position on Home Capital. With the recent 60% plus drop, I assume a lot of short covering occurred. With today's run up north of $10, I am wondering if the shorts are gearing up again. What do you think 5I and pls advise what % of float is shorted currently
As always, thanks!
As always, thanks!
Q: Is the HCG movement up speculation or is the situation improving for the company?
Thank You
Thank You
Q: Good morning,
I am curious about HCG and its recent stock price rise.
If other banks/investors are taking a stake in this company by assuming responsibility for the mortgages within, how does this add value to HCG? I am assuming that the "insurers" are doing to collect the mortgage premiums.
Thanks
rick

Q: Is there a case to be made for trading HCG with it sitting at current levels? I realize that your service advocates careful and balanced portfolio management but there do seem to be opportunities to harvest $.40/.50 cent swings.
As a second part to the question, do you see the company going to Zero or has it already bottomed out as CXR and VRX did before it with the short attacks. The underlying business seems better than it is getting credit for but perhaps that doesn't matter.
