Q: Thoughts on the quarter? Do YOU think HCG will reinstate dividend soon? Do they have the same restrictions from OSFI as the big banks where they can not raise their dividend during COVID?

Q: May I please have your comments on the earnings report. Cheers
Q: It's been a while (mid-November) since there was a Q&A on this former favourite. It's up about 10% since then. Would you kindly offer your current views? Do you think it is suitable going forward as a 'slow and steady' stock for a buy-and-hold type of investor. Thanks in advance.
Q: Please comment on HCG earnings today. What is the likelihood that they start paying a dividend soon?
Q: Hello, your current thoughts on home capital please. Hasn’t been talked about in a while. Thank you.

Q: Hello Peter and Team,
I currently have 50K ready to be invested in the market. I am looking for capital gain in the next 24 months. Above stocks have been hammered and did not fully recover yet. Agree that they are in different sectors, my portfolio is otherwise diversified.
Could you give me your expert opinion and prioritize your choices if any from the above.
I always value your opinion

Q: Thoughts please on the quarter. Thx
Q: I hold both of these and believe they are in somewhat of the same business, and while both have only recovered to approx 1/2 of their previous highs before the virus problems, GSY has recovered substantially better in the last few days. Is there a problem with HCG or just a lagger at this point???
Many thanks for all your good advise

Q: Sometime in the last 6 years a question was asked about a short list of Canadian companies that survived the 2008 financial crisis. I believe HCG was one of them although it has had its troubles since. I cannot find it in the search of all questions. Can you give a current list?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Q: How will the Dutch Auction being offered January 10 for Home Capital impact the stock?. Price 34.15 not to exceed 37.25.

Q: i have owned home capital since 20.00, their earnings were excellent, but up 5.00 seems excessive, i had a position, sold a little. whats do you think. dave
Q: Hi, Equitable Group has been on a tear and Home Capital is close. Today's results were excellent and EQB has committed to increasing dividends 20-25% every year for next 5 years. Stabilizing housing/mortgage market and improving sentiment has been the primary reason helping this meteoric rise.
What is your opinion on this sector and would you support starting a position in either of these companies for a 5 year hold. If so, which one would you prefer, in terms of Valuation, ROC and Growth prospects? Thanks
