Q: ALC. A recent article on sea captians indicated there are few captians to replace those that are about to retire. Would you know if ALC may be having a present or future problem with this issue. Is it just the captians or also the other key positions on these ships?

Q: Is Carmanah Technologies (CMH) showing signs of turnaround, there have been insider buys, or it is still too early to tell. Thanks for the great service, Peter
Q: Is Currency Exchange International (CXI on TSX) worth a full position in a diversified portfolio? I was considering this over Manulife (MFC), for a bit of added exposure in the financial sector, though understandably each is in a different sub-sector of Financials. Or would Manulife be the better investment? What are the inherent risks with CXI other than its size? 5 I philosophy also stresses the value of good management in carrying a company forward: are you at all familiar with this management team and its track record? Thanks, as always.
Q: Interesting article in the Financial Post about TheScore Inc SCR.V being the new Amaya AYA.Any thoughts on this one.Paul
Q: Ladies and Gentlemen, I see Pur took another big jump on Sept.15. It is up over $.90 in the last month. Is it too late to buy this stock?

Q: In looking at the quarterly statement for IEI this appears to be an up-and-comer. Your comments please. Thanks Al
Q: DOO BRP has hit a new low today. Back in April you had some nice words to say about this stock in the Q&A. Well, you liked it better than the parent Co. -- which may be damning with faint praise considering how much you dislike the Bomber. What do you think is the problem with DOO and what do you think of it? It is seasonal!

Q: CXI Currency Exchange International. Would like your thoughts on the quarterly release.
Please consider covering this company. It is growing at a significant pace, has a banking license on the horizon and seems to trade at a very reasonable valuation.

Q: PUR... Pure Technologies
Right now according to BNN, 87% of revenue for PUR comes from water and waste with only 7% coming from O&G.
Considering the hoops LNG has to go through to secure approvals for new pipe lines - and understandable so - it seems to me this 7% should be increasing dramatically over the coming years which should bode extremely well for PUR and their new technology designed to monitor and detect pipeline faults and failures.
With that in mind, this stock to me appears to be a no brainer.
Is there something I am not aware of that could change this? What competition does PUR have? Is there another technology out there that is doing the same job? Would you recommend a buy at this time for PUR or a wait and see?
Thanks for all you do
Gord

Q: Peter:
Caldwell Partners (TSX: CWL) seem to be getting some attention from investors with a little higher trading volumes and growing market cap. Would 5i consider covering it given no one else does and Company is performing really well and paying a dividend too?

Q: Peter, can I get your opinions on PTS and AIM. Both have been beaten down for some reasons. For PTS it seems it's due to a report from Seeking Alpha valuing the company at 5.50. Which one you prefer most? Thanks in advance and all the best for the ride.
Q: Would you please help me understand the trading volume for Petrowest? The average volume is over 8 million and yet in the last few trading sessions the volume has been extremely low.
Thanks so much

Q: Please give me your medium term outlook on Cargojet (CJT-T)and in particular, the capital cost for the new infrastructure at the Hamilton, ON distribution centre that is proposed. I am somewhat concerned that the company has only a few clients and may not have the diversified client base that a FEDEX has.
