Q: Could you share your thoughts on the recent 8% drop suffered by Exco? I don't see anything news related, can this simply be attributed to the tough market on Oct. 1st? Thanks.

Q: Hi guys, just like to hear your analysis of ADW.A and if you could speak to the risks associated with some of the dependence the company has on LCBO / Gov't of Ontario support through policies. I am looking at the non-voting shares as a portfolio diversifier. Thanks, Mike.

Q: 1.Is INTERTAIN GROUP (IT) the next AMAYA?
2. Why doesn't anyone talk about WARRANTS here or on BNN. I've made a lot of quick $$$ on them, and lost a lot on Gold Warrants. e.g. I bought AYA.wt.A @ $2 and sold them @ $13. I was an idiot....and should have sold half and waited to sell the rest at double that.
I recently bought IT.wt @ $0.89 and it is now trading @ $4.70, so I ask again, is this the next AMAYA???

Thank you! Austin

Q: I accumulated a double position in Valeant over the last months. I average about 131 and now it's 144. Last week the stock went up (apparently) due to Valeant reporting that they do have organic growth. Plus, the chief executive and founder of ValueAct Capital Management, is joining the board. Organic growth has been a concern and so, with this out of the way, I see Valeant as being a far less risky investment and am now considering holding this for over a year, as opposed to a short term trade. What do you think?

Q: CCL Industries has been quite volatile, lately, unlike for its business characteristics (packaging). It did n't participate in Friday's bounce after previous sell off. INK has reported that insider selling has accelerated in this company. My average purchase price is just where it's currently trading. Should I hold on or move to names like Inter tape Polymers for higher dividend and growth? Thanks

Q: ALC. A recent article on sea captians indicated there are few captians to replace those that are about to retire. Would you know if ALC may be having a present or future problem with this issue. Is it just the captians or also the other key positions on these ships?

Q: Is Carmanah Technologies (CMH) showing signs of turnaround, there have been insider buys, or it is still too early to tell. Thanks for the great service, Peter

Q: Is Currency Exchange International (CXI on TSX) worth a full position in a diversified portfolio? I was considering this over Manulife (MFC), for a bit of added exposure in the financial sector, though understandably each is in a different sub-sector of Financials. Or would Manulife be the better investment? What are the inherent risks with CXI other than its size? 5 I philosophy also stresses the value of good management in carrying a company forward: are you at all familiar with this management team and its track record? Thanks, as always.
