Q: Hi Peter, just wondering what your team thinks of Savaria? It's still a relatively small company based on market cap, but EBITA grew close to 20% y/y in the last quarter, and the company again raised it's dividend. They seem to be quietly building momentum, they seem well positioned to benefit from the demographic shift that is under way, and the stock has recently broken higher after a period of consolidation. Your thoughts?

Q: Hi Peter and Team, what are your thoughts on Amaya picking up Israeli developer DiWip? Seems like interesting technology for AYA to add going forward, unless LAB/Diwip is a done deal already! Intertain, IT, plus Diwip a possibility? Thanks!

Q: Greeting, Peter & Co.
I fund and administer RDSPs for three young girls on the autism spectrum. Although I still have a 10 year time horizon I fortunately have no energy exposure in these portfolios. I am considering a small position in High Arctic Energy (HWO) as well as a position in a, yet to be determined, large cap energy company. My rationale is:
HWO has operations in Papua New Guinea (PNG) (74%) and Alberta (26%). Although HWO is not a typical Canadian energy services company its 6 month share price decline is identical to that of Calfrac and slightly less than some of the other Canadian companies in this sector. The PNG operations include services and equipment rentals to natural gas companies that provide natural gas to a new LNG plant that has very long-term supply contracts. The Alberta operations, in my opinion, containing more risk than PNG, are similar to those of other Canadian energy service companies.
HWO had a good Q3 and the balance sheet is solid. There is enough cash on hand to cover the CAPEX for the additional rigs that will be delivered in 2015. The dividend was recently increased by 10% to 5.3% at the current share price of $3.73 leaving a very low payout ratio.
Please advise me of any errors in my numbers or logic and your assessment of HWO.
With great appreciation for your most valuable service.

I am currently holding GILD Gilead Sciences, CXR Concordia Healthcare and CCT Catamaran.

I am thinking to add one small cap of this sector into my p/f and am looking at GUD Knight Therapeutic and PLI ProMetic Life Science. Which one would you recommend. If you do not these two, pls suggest another one.

Q: I bought this stock a month ago and have a small position and it was my intention to purchase more shares later by dollar cost averaging. I wasn't planning on doing this so quickly but with the recent down grade by Credit Suisse on this company and the price drop in the past few days, would you consider this to be a good time to increase my position. As they are reporting earnings on the 25th could the recent downgrade be attributed to speculation to a possible poorer result and if that is the case would I be better to wait until after the earnings report.

Thank you,

B
