Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: TMB has been "range-bound" (about $2.98 to $3.00) since about Feb.1/17. Targets by several analysts and companies (Thompson Reuters and TD for example) range from $3.75 to $4.00. S&P rate it as a "Strong Buy" (in the 6th percentile!).I can't make sense of the situation and I guess my question comes down to:
Is TMB good buy now (with some reasons)?

Q: Are you seeing any news to account for the sell off in this stock? I noticed volume was not extreme. This still on your radar as an future addition to the growth portfolio?

Q: Hi, The recent large acquisition seems to have garnered strong market interest. After staying at $2.05-$2.15 level for a few days, stock price has taken off to new highs over last week, on heavy volume. Your recent comments indicate some concern over debt financing and have kept me on the sidelines. Am I missing the boat and is it worth starting with a partial position at these levels?

Q: How material is the announcement of a settlement in the dispute over intellectual property (Photon Control Announces Completion of Settlement Agreement with Photon R&D [source: CW]) to the medium-term prospects for PHO?

This has been a long-term, ultimately successful, investment for me which I started buying in 2006 for an average price of $0.18, so volatility is not a big concern.

Thanks for your informative insight.
