Q: I would appreciate your analysis of their Q1 results that were released late yesterday. It looks like a revenue beat of $14.2 million vs estimates of $13.6 million. Onward and upward? Many thanks.
Q: Could you please comment on their results.
Thanks,
Milan

Q: Trying to figure out the CBL Quarterly report: What is the payout ratio for CBL?
- Can their free cash flow cover the dividend?
- Can their free cash flow cover the share buybacks?

Q: I don't own PEO however, I'm interested in your positive comments as to its financial condition. Firstly, PEO has about 80% of its assets in Goodwill & Intangibles. Its' NET asset value is really only equal to its debt which would indicate a NAV or Book of approx .75c. Maybe I'm too old or just too conservative. Your comments. Thank you.
Q: A comment more than a question. In today's wall street journal there is an article reporting that public transit use is on the decline in the US. I wonder if this will have an adverse effect on New Flyer? Not sure if their product is sold in those regions being most effected by the downturn.
Q: Hi Peter;
please comment on NFI"s New Flyer Industries latest results.

Q: I thought zzz earnings were good. Same Store sales were up again. a trend that has occurred in many of the Companies past quarters. They will benefit with Sears Canada closing many of their stores. Is it a buy ? RAK

Q: I bought some JTR (<1% position) due to its sector and the profit margin looked interesting. I am now down 16% on this..is there any merit in holding on...better prospects in horizon? Also this is in a margin account...therefore I am paying interest..Thanks for your guidance. Shyam
Q: I have been thinking about buying NFI but I am hesitant to do so with the advent of a possible competitor
company called Grande West Transportation, albeit their buses are smaller. Also, I note that some insiders of NFI have been recent sellers of the stock. Would appreciate your thoughts. With thanks, Bill

Q: Hi 5iR Team, With both KXS and SHOP you identified these stocks in their early stages, put them on your radar and finally incorporated them in your investor portfolios. They both have been blockbuster stocks and I feel fortunate to have them in my portfolio. Thank you 5iR.
We are all "seeking alpha" seeking potential stocks with upside velocity. Do you have another SHOP on your radar? A stock not yet in your portfolios but ready to be listed. A stock the team just feels, yes, these guys are in the right space, doing the right thing at the right time. We are buyers! I know Peter really likes GUD and I own some but..............Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks again for your superlative work...you set a high bar 5iR. Chris

Q: I see freshii is at an all time low today. Do you happen to know what their projected growth is for new stores, cash flow, sales and eps? It seams to me they have a great opportunity to expand. I don't have much knowledge on Ipo's. Is there a period that those that got them aren't allowed to sell? If so when are people allowed to sell their freshii ipo shares? Since the price is below the Ipo price do you see this negatively affecting the price. Probably creating a buying opportunity in the near future?

Q: Hello, I have just read "Why It’s Almost Impossible to be a Passive Investor in Canada" by Ryan, very informative article. I realize that my portfolio is underweight in the industrials sector. Could you suggest 3 or 4 names in Canada and in the US respectively? I am looking for good mid or big cap companies with growing dividend if possible. This is for long term investment. Regards, Gervais
