Q: Todays announcement re disposing off the financial unit, plus buying back shares, plus increasing dividend, coupled with a ten fold increase in the no of shares traded today make a case to buy the stock now. Q: I currently own BAE Systems and Orbital ATK inc. I am looking at another defence stock to add to my portfoilio. Which looks best to you, from Rockwell Collins (COL.US), Northrop Grumman (NOC.US) or Precision Castparts (PCP.US)?

The following article in Globe and Mail gives some comparisions:

Q: This is fresh off the press: David's Tea (for those that have seen it's growth in the streets of major cities in Canada and select U.S. cities) has filed for an IPO. First question is if you guys are able to go through the IPO Form S-1 filing and if so, what do you guys think of this company coming to the market. I know you guys usually have reservations for any IPO companies, so how does this IPO rank?

Q: Morning, I currently do not have a REIT in my portfolio but also do not have much for US exposure other than a couple of Indexed and Divident ETF's. I am looking for a nice yield with modest growth. What do you know of NNN? Ido you have something else you are more comfortable with?

Q: Hey guys, I have way too many stocks in my portfolio and I am trying to consolidate. I have wba and pfe with +20 gains on both however they only account for 1% (each) of my portfolio. Which one should I sell to buy a larger position into the other one or sell both and purchase another u.s. health care company which you recommend. (Medium risk with dividends similar to pfe and wba)
Take care,
Jim

Q: What is your outlook on US financials as a sector? I hold VFH, I am up 46% but some of that is because I bought in when Canadian dollar was stonger. I am considering cashing in my gains and reinvesting in a Canadian dividend EFT. Thoughts?
Thanks

Q: This is a US company and outside your focus but I wonder if you could give me your overall take on McKession and its pospects for a growing dividend. It seems to me that it might be a good way to round out a portfolio sector and help hit my US diversification goals at the same time.
Thank you !

Q: Hi Peter,
I hold shares of Tidewater which continue to slide. Is there long term concern other than the price of oil. I am happy to hold and maybe add if they are not at risk of bankruptcy and it's expected it will come back when the price starts to rise. Appreciate any comments or advice. thank you. Tulio

Q: Hi,

I came across the U.S company Sanderson Farms in a recent issue of Moneysense. I am thinking of taking a small position in it (About 1% of my portfolio). The valuation on it seems very cheap, and the company seems to be profitable and cash flow positive. What are the main risks with this name (Leaving aside currency risk). Do you agree that the valuation (P/E) is very cheap. If so, why is that?
