Quick thoughts on TICC Capital Corp, TICC. Are the financials sustainable, are they a good growth/dividend increasing company? and finally is the current price a good entry if at all?

Q: Hi Peter, staff, I noticed the question today about DRYS and I was I was intrigued by SFI. While not nearly the same business, I hold TAL and wondered what you would think about a switch from TAL to SFI. Thanks.

Q: If you hold the view that in general, world economies are slowly improving, would now be the time to buy into the consumer/discretionary spending area, which I assume have been beat up in the last few years. Are there ETFs that cover this specific space? Would an ETF be the best way to go?

Majic Formula Investing screener is picking up WTW in the US as a value pick. What do you think about this company in general and the Majic Formula Investing method of stock picking. They claim to have yielded good results over a long time frame but their holding period is one year

Q: The US portion of my portfolio consists of CSCO, MCD, UTX, BHP and AAPL (a little bit heavy on the Tech side because of no exposure on the Canadian technology front). I took some profits and trimmed my exposure to CSCO and MCD after nice run-ups and am looking to use the proceeds to further diversify. I'm thinking perhaps a US financial (and really a play on Consumer Discretionary spending) like AXP or a Medical Supplies company like BDX. Or does something else jump out at you as being a nice complement to what I own? Thanks.

Q: Good morning all.
I just heard of this quite new(mid 2011)fund TLF.UN and am wondering what sort of option this fund would be for following the tech sector in the US via the TSX. A Brompton Fund at (http://www.bromptongroup.com/funds/fund/tlf/overview) it pays a nice distribution and has a mgmt fee of 0.75 but I expect the MER is higher. It looks like it is holding 16 positions and is fairly active writing covered calls to boost returns. Does 5i have any knowledge of, insights on or opinions about this fund and would something like QQQX or other be a better vehicle for following the US tech sector? TLF is small and probably not that liquid.

What are your thoughts on Arcam AB, AMAVF on the pink sheets. I dont think they trade in Canada. They are an additive manufacturing company. i am thinking about going in for the long term, but i would like to know if current prices make sense based on their financials and growth prospects.
