Q: Hi Peter
Can you comment on this stock please, I know Ian Ainsworth purchased it for his U.S. Growth fund.
It's been a great free cash flow generator, However it has no Retained earnings and debt continues to grow, what are they doing with all the free cash.
Also would you consider the 650 million of goodwill to be a Red Flag, and finally what do you think compelled Mr Ainsworth to take a position in this stock recently.
Thanks Gord

Q: Hi,
I currently own V, but I am considering a switch to AXP.
The primary motivation is valuation. The larger yield is also attractive.
Do you have an opinion on Visa vs American Express?
Thank you.

Q: I'm not familiar with ETNs or potential risks associated with them, but would appreciate your thoughts on a fund such as Barclays CAPE that seeks to invest in the undervalued sectors of the S&P 500.

Are the potential risks justified versus a low cost ETF that just tracks the S&P500?

How do you guys view Cinemark Holdings compared to Cineplex. Is Cinemark a better value? Does it have better growth potential and is it a better bet with the US recovery?

Thanks again

Q: Hi Peter & Team:

I heard that ETFs & Mutual funds that hold foreign companies are not required to report on T1135. If this is true, would it be good to invest in foreign companies but avoid reporting the T1135? Thank you.

Q: My husband and I are 65 and 60. We have never had any US or global investments in the past. We've now sold part of our RRSP portfolio (~20% of the total investment) and are ready to step into the US market with ETFs. My question is 1) The timing – the Feds will increase the interest rate very soon. Should I wait until the Fed announcement?, and 2) What US and/or Global ETFs should I buy? Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I was ready to buy Cinemark, waited for their report, thought at first glance it looked reasonable - and am surprised at how the stock price has reacted. Can you please comment?

Thank you very much.

Q: I've been waiting for a pullback to buy MIC-N and now it's happened, but it's been prompted by its latest earnings release. Could I please get you to look over the earnings and tell me what you think. Is it a good time to buy or not, and what the heck is "underlying proportionately combined free cash flow" that they focus on in their headline number? They must use the same "simple" accounting system as Brookfield Group.
