Q: Skyworks was a company Bruce Tatters had recommended on BNN. I asked you about it a few months ago, and you seemed to think it was alright. It seems to me that it is a recipe to lose money. What is your opinion of it now?

Also, what do you expect when DRT reports? Will it be a good or a bad report? (rather than a numerical answer)This stock last quarter went up for a few days and then went right back down. It also had a big drop on April 29th. If you think that the quarter will be fine, I will hold on to it and watch it carefully.

Thanks for the good advice. I spend a lot of time reading your question & answer section, and have learnt a lot from 5i Research.

Q: Good morning,
I am attempting to simplify and de-risk my US portfolio. I hold Seaspan (at a small profit) and Ship Finance (at a small loss), although both are net positive due to the generous yields. I am considering eliminating one position, and do not want tax considerations to influence the decision. I would appreciate your advice. Thank you.

Q: Hi Team,
I am willing to take a full position in Endo Pharmaceutical, it seems it has been overly punished by the market due to the similarities with VRX (and similar business model) I suppose.

I see limit downside risk and it is, I think, a potential takeover candidate at the current price level (similar to Concordia).
Earnings are coming soon, so I was thinking to take my first half position before the earnings and the rest of my position after but I am not sure... what is your opinion?

Bye the way, congratulations for the latest improvements on the site!

Q: Hi, I have these 4 ETFs in my wife's accounts, in approximately equal weights:
XIC
CDZ
VDU
VUN

Does that look about right to you for an ETF investor?

Thanks,
Robert

Q: Computer task group just reported. From the press release CTG expects total revenue for the 2016 second quarter to range between $85.0 and $87.0 million. Net income is expected to be between $0.03 and $0.05 per diluted share.

For the full year 2016, Non-GAAP net income is expected to be between $0.13 and $0.21 per diluted share.

Revenue has been declining over the past few years, the long time CEO also died recently.

They have reported $7.9M in cash in the balance sheet right now, and $79M is accounts receivable.

Is it rare to see a company trading with a market cap at close to cash + AR? (Currrent market cap is $96M)

Do you think they will drain cash to maintain the quarterly dividend of $0.06/share, making it unsustainable? Or a candidate for a cut?

Do you see this as a potential value play or trap?

Is it reasonable to speculate that a Democratic win in 2016 would be positive for healthcare IT spend? (one of CTG strengths.)

Could CTG be a takeover target?

Q: I have owned the above Spirit Airlines for a year or so, got in around $74.00 and while the earnings seem positive, the price of fuel is low, it has steadily declined since I have owned. Is it something I should consider selling, it is unfortunately in my rsp, so I am somewhat reluctant. I look forward to your assessment of the stock. Thank you.

Q: I am considering replacing vxc with 50% vti and 50% vxus in my Rrsp. This I think will save some small mer, better for taxation and less losses due to currency exposure. I would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions also about possible alternatives.
