Q: Hi,
I'm loving GoPro lately. I took a position just a few months ago around $12. It's sitting at $17.45 right now. Could you offer some insight as to what's causing the run up and how far (I know it's asking for a crystal ball) you think it will go? Any other thoughts or insights you have into GoPro would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Q: Peter,
For derivative exposure re. wells Fargo, it has almost none as a percent of total exposure.
for the others:
JPM aound 7%
City around 9%
Goldman around 13%
Morgan Stanley around 28%
So on that metric only, Wells is a pretty good bet, notwithstanding the abomination of what they just did and their complete ignorance of respect of customers (50 shades of gray) and of respect of employees!!

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I will not be offended if you choose not to answer this question...firstly it is a USA company and secondly it is a contrarian play. In having owned oil stocks during this downturn I am painfully aware of the risks involved. I am analyzing this company which has hugh upside if it can survive another year or two. They are being kicked out of the S&P600 on Oct. 3rd to be replaced by a healthier company. Since they are owned by mutual funds I expect there will be a further sell off. So how would you rate there survivability...there balance sheet, management strength and overall impression of this company within there sector.
Thanks for tackling this out of bounds company...
Respectfully yours...

Q: Hi 5i team,

I have Nxpi semiconductor stock in both registered and non-registered accounts both with positive gains. With the news of a take over what would be the best approach going forward. How do I know when to sell, do I wait for a formal offer as the news appears that they are only in talks with qcom at this point in time. I am thinking of putting the non registered US dollars into Oclaro Oclr-q.

Thank you
Mike

Q: Hi Peter

I own QSR at lower levels and am considering adding Starbucks with its pullback. They are the kind of companies I like to own with increasing dividends.
However, I have a hard time accepting P/Es in the mid 20s. Morningstar has SBUX with a forward P/E of 25. Still seems expensive even with its pullback. What do you think?

Cheers
John

Q: Hi, I know you've already answered a few questions on the exchange offered by PG but I'm still too obtuse to understand the ramifications.

Very simply, if I own 50 shares of PG and I tender them as part of the exchange, will I still own 50 shares of PG afterwards, plus the shares of the new spin-off, or will I only only shares in the new spin-off?

I have to provide instructions by September 28.

Thank you,
