Q: This is a comment on your answer to Harold question. I am going to hold on my TWX shares. The stock rose less than 9% on the news. Based on today's prices, if the deal goes thru, it values AT&T at about $ 26. It seems to me that the market is not expecting this deal to materialize. I know two years ago a take over proposal of much less value didn't materialize and since I am not a trader I see the risk reward scenario favors holding on my shares. It looks to me that TWX is in play if not with AT&T it would be with somebody else. I as the other members value your opinion on this.
Q: The AT&T purchase of Time Warner is valued at US $107.50 and is subject to a review by the U.S. Justice Department. In your opinion, would it be wise to sell my TWX shares into the market now, or to wait until the (hopeful) approval and closing?
Q: I already own Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Nvidia. I was thinking of adding Microsoft after their last report. What do you think of them?
Q: Hello Peter and Team, my question is about AT&T proposal to buy Time Warner. What I do not understand is the reason why this deal has such a negative impact on the price of AT&T shares, could you explain? I hold shares of AT&T, what should I do now? Thank you very much, Gervais
Q: Hi, I have shares in Peabody energy which filed chapter 11 earlier in the year. Once listed with the "Q" designation, the shares lingered in the $1.50 range for about six months until the past week where they sky rocketed to what it is currently at $13.50.
Do you have an idea what machinations cause a ch11 stock to go this high? Also should I take advantage of this pop and sell my existing shares?
I read that once a ch11 company climbs out of bankruptcy they can issue new shares making existing common shares worthless. Is it possible that peabody may not do this?
Sorry for the barrage of questions, I am very curious how bankruptcies work.
Thank You,
Andrew

Q: Your opinion on etf : DTD (Wisdom Tree Total Dividend Fund) for a long term , and in RRSP portfolio.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: RAI apparently is entertaining a buyout from BAT. Should I sell into the current price or hold for a better offer? I bought RAI for the U$ dividend but I would sell if I thought the bid would fail.
Q: I have a small position in NKE but it has a significant loss in stock value and corresponding options. Do you think I should persevere in keeping the stock or move on?
Q: I have about 50K US to invest. Which do you think best MSFT or... HON or... should I just buy XSP Can hedged OR.... SDY the S&P div ETF.?
Any other suggestion welcome. I want growth without crazy risk. Helen

Q: Hi !
Nearly a year ago, you mentioned Silicon Motion and Cambrex as your favorite US growth stocks. Where do you see them going now ?
As I am down 17% on Cambrex and 8% on Silicon Motion, do you think I should hold, sell or average down ?
Thank you for your enlightened views,
Jacques

Q: I am interested in buying an ETF that would cover the S&P 500 index. From looking at previous questions, I see 2 that are talked about, namely VFV and VSP. I was planning on buying VSP but I find the volume is very low compared to VFV and also VSP is CAN hedged(which I don't quite understand).
Can you give me a brief idea of the difference between the 2 and which would be the best to purchase long term?
Or are there other S@P 500 ETFs that you would suggest with a pretty good dividend?
Thank You,
Andrew

Q: I am considering the purchase of this security. Could I please have your valued opinion? Thanks
Q: Are you comfortable with QQQ as a US Dollar ETF (information technology), or can you suggest a similar better alternative? Thank You.
Q: Hello: If you were to pick ETF's today for an RRSP, one to cover Europe and another the US, what would your choice be? Large-medium-small cap at this point would make very little difference. They would be for a long term hold.
Thanks, Brian
Thanks, Brian
Q: Realizing that this is new and its hard to evaluate. What is your opinion. Thanks
Q: I have owned the Baby B's from the beginning of time and I would like to keep the stock forever but Warren is no spring chicken.
If Warren were to the pass away ( I hope he lives to 120) what would be the likely stock price outcomes in the short term and medium term?

Q: Thanks for all the great work and insights you provide.
I would like to buy both of these. I only have enough cash for a full position for one currently. Which would you recommend at this time?
