Q: Given the weakness in consumer staples in the US, if you were looking in this sector what are some names that'd be on your watch list?

Q: Hi,
Could you get your crystal ball out to help with this decision. I bought facebook on the dip at $159. Now its bouncing around $190. For a two month return thats pretty great. Do you think its a good value "forever" type stock because of their user numbers? Or do you think its looking like a good time to move that money into something else offering greater upside? Im not into chasing gains and moving money around alot, I prefer value investing. However, since its hovering around its highest high is it likely to slow down to maybe just a few percent growth per year? Its growth has been very consistent since the end of 2012, but if that was to slow down and not offer a dividend it would lose some attractiveness for sure. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Q: In addition to your response to Umed's question " Why Spotify keeps going higher everyday ", Spotify has received few upgrades, last week, most recent as follows:
* June 7, 2018 : Buckingham Research raises price target to $195 from $175 *
RBC Capital Market also has a $210 price target, re-iterated recently by Mark Mahaney, a prominent Tech Analyst.

Q: Hello team,

There is a lot of debate about how AMD may actually, not in so distant a future, steal the show from NVDA by beating them in their GPU technology as well as other areas such AI technology. So which one do you side with NVDA or AMD? NVDA is a leader for now but would you invest in AMD if you were looking or even faster growth for a similar risk?

Q: Yesterday, I noted your warm response to a question a CRM and, when I looked at what they do, it occurred to me (who admittedly knows little about these new cloud-driven services) that it might be rather similar to SHOP. If so, is their a thought on how to choose a likely winner in this space? Also, I note that DOCU seems to be doing well in this space.

Q: I read the blog post on best US dividends.

5) IVZ - Invesco Ltd
4) AMAT - Applied Materials
3) T - AT&T
2) WBA - Walgreens Boots Alliance
1) CAH - Cardinal Health

What do you think of these? If I bought US Cash now to get some exposure are these relatively safe to hold for income and potential growth in the next 1 – 5 years?

I searched past questions on a few of these and I didn’t necessarily see 5i recommending them. Interested to know your thoughts / ranking.

Q: "MKSI" share price dropped more than 7% yesterday, what happened? Shall I hold or sale my position? Is "MKSI" a leader in the sector? or what is their ranking in the sector? Who is holding a leadership role? What is your view to the company's future? Is this a expensive stock?

Q: Hello Folks:
My only health care stock is a 7% weighting of JNJ. I am considering adding UNH... would you think this prudent with this stock’s PE at 23%. What is your view on JNJ; would it be reasonable to fund a UNH purchase by selling some JNJ or would you use other money?

Q: I asked 5i about WEC in September 2017. I have held it, to my regret. I now seek a FRESH and independent look by 5i re WEC. Sabrient is a quant shop I have followed for a few years and I was alarmed to see them slap a “STRONG SELL” on WEC. Thomson Reuters is mostly neutral although they appear (I think) positive on the future, in that they gave WEC a 10 out of 10 in their section “Earnings Outlook” . A couple of other analysts I read show WEC as a hold or neutral. I show considerable loss on WEC (almost as bad as I have on ENB.ca). Is the drop in value in WEC and other utilities due to actual or prospective increases in interest rates? If yes, do you think the market has now baked all that into current price? Would you hold? (Can't use as tax loss). If you would sell, please suggest 2 or 3 US names to replace it with?
