Q: Hi, what do you think of this new fund, Caldwell US Dividend Advantage? It still very small. I am trying to diversify from Canadian only stocks, want a dividend and don't want ROC (which they state in their prospectus might happen). Thanks!

Q: I am aware that you dont follow US stocks as closely as Canadian securities, however I respect your opinion and feel free to respond if you are comfortable with the topic. Visa has lost Walmart Canada as a customer and although it is a small portion of their overall business do you see this as a start of a trend towards lower fees and therefore lower earnings. I have held this stock for several years and have done very well. Should I move on? Thank you.

Q: I hold WMB in my RRSP.

Please advise which option to elect in the merger of The Williams Companies Inc (WMB) with Energy Transfer Equity LP (ETE). The three choices are:

1 - 1.8716 share of ETE for 1 share WMB
2 - $43.50 cash for 1 share WMB
3 - $8.00 cash and 1.5274 share of ETE for 1 share WMB

Thank you

Q: Hello 5i,
Last week i asked a question regarding broad market etf's and you mentionned vun. I failed to specify that i was looking for unhedged versions. My research shows two funds that seem to correspond to vun. They are: vfinx and vfiax. Am i right in that? And if so, i imagine the difference between the two funds is that vfiax is the same fund but needs ten thousand dollars initiat purchase. Am i right in this?
Thanks

Q: It looks as if the Williams Cos mess is coming to a close, but which option to choose? I have 200 WMB in my RIF. I am thinking the cash option would be best and then to buy a U.S. stock with potential. You thoughts please and suggestions?
