Q: In answer to another reader's question, you recently recommended the following 4 US tech stocks (NVDA, QCOM, GOOG, CGNX) and four US industrials (FLIR, LLL, UTX, ITRI).

If you had to narrow it down to two in each of these categories (tech and industrials), which would you pick at this time?

Q: Now that Apple has risen to within 1% of its all time high and I am finally at a position slightly higher than when I bought, I am considering selling the shares and would be interested in your latest view on whether this is a good time to sell, or whether there is any advantage to waiting a while.
The shares are held in my wife's RRIF and if sold, I would want to buy something else in the same sector, or move into the health/pharma sector.
I bought the shares a few years ago after asking your advice and you suggested to buy either AAPL or GOOG. I suspect that GOOG has done much better since and I have to say I was never really impressed with the low dividend that AAPL pays, especially considering how much cash it has on hand.

Does the tech sector still have legs? Are there any companies you like in the tech sector in the US that pay a 3%+ dividend and still a chance of growth?

At one point you were hinting that a US portfolio may be in the cards for 5i. Any closer to a decision? If not, how would you invest 60k$ U$.

Q: Good morning team. What do you think of NVDA quarterly results last night (Thursday)? My holding has grown to 3.5%. The after hours market looks neutral. I'm not sure why. Much thanks for all you do.

Is this the technology that Shopify supplies ? Is there further opportunity to invest in this type of technology .

Q: Other than currency what is the difference between these two products. I would like some insurance on market volatility but am unsure which product is best. Is there a better way to protect against volatility other than cash. Thanks
