Q: Further to a disappointing quarter result and horrible guidance, what do you think the new CEO will do? Any possibility that GE will be split up into several companies ... medical device, aerospace, and oil/gas etc? If so, how do you think the stock price would react?

Q: Hi 5i Team.
Would you agree to selling Walmart and use the proceeds to buy Amazon ?
The dividend is not necessary , as I am more growth oriented.
I have held WMT in my portfolio for over twenty years.

Q: Can you tell me the short position on Axon (previously Taser). They seem to be in some trouble with the SEC.
Q: Is this a good opportunity at this time for a two year hold?
Q: Good morning
On september 13th I asked a question about a suggested portfolio set up.
The answer given was:
Canadian growth: CAE, KXS, GUD, TOY, DOL, CAE
Canadian dividend: PBH, ZCL, SIS, FTS, GSY, ENB, ET, BEI.UN, AQN, T
US: CGNX, GOOG, NVDA, COR
For the US could you please clarify which stock is COR ?
Are there any changes to this lineup if initiating positions today?
Thanks
Victoria

Q: I know you don't cover American stocks but was wondering if I could get your opinion on RAD.
Q: If I may follow up to today's question about celgene; how does the lack of a dividend paid by celgene bring you to recommend against moving towards a 5% position?
Can you please explain your rationale?
Most growth stock do not pay dividends, yet you have in the passed given the 'ok' for full position ( goog, fb)
Thank you
Karim

Q: I acquired a small position in Chemours when it was split off from Dupoint. I have watched as it grows with great momentum. Do you think it wise to expand my holding to a full position or has it run a bit ahead of itself at this point? As always, thanks for the consistently great advise.

Q: I currently own a 3.5 % position in celgene. Yesterday's accouncement of a failure to proceed to a phase 3 drug trial has led to two analyst downgrades. The stock is down 6 percent pre market. Would you be comfortable, at this moment, to top up to 5%? Or do you see more downside for the company, and would prefer to let things settle.
Thank you
Karim

Q: With the miss and the weakness in the stock would now be a good time to take a long term position or would you see more pain and possible div. cut.
Q: These stocks are making new lows.
They are not in favour right now.
Money is coming out of this sector because packaged foods are not popular etc? Growth stocks are back in favour?
Is this an opportunity?

Q: Can you please give me PE and forward PE for both companies. How do they differ? Even in a economically sensitive business, wouldn't you assume cjt can still grow with simply the transition to online versus BandM.
Q: How big is the news GILD for FDA approval for Cancer drugs? I think it is significant. Can I make a case for a full or half position on this company. Currently have very limited exposure in this sector..except if SIS is considered a healthcare stock. Thanks. Shyam
Q: Just noticing TAP is getting cheap, is it a trap. What would you say about its prospects for the next few years? Is there a better choice in the sector?
Q: Nanostring Technologies. I am curious to know why the free fall?
Q: Why is Ichor Holdings down so much today?
Q: Which is your favorite US Bank and why would you buy it today?
Thank you.
Thank you.

I'm interested in purchasing 1 or 2 of the FAANG stocks for a long term hold. How would you rank them at this time? Do you consider all to be good buys at today's prices?
Thanks as always...

Q: Hello Peter, Ryan and 5i team,
I recently sold my position in BYD.un and would like to instead deploy the funds to add another one of the FAANG stocks?
The ytd return on BYD.un is just about 10% and would like a growth stock for a 5+year hold. I own half postions in FB, GOOG and would like to know which would you add and have most conviction with for a long term (forever?) hold? I was leaning towards AMZN, BABA or APPL? Or would you suggest a half position in a two of these?
Thank you as always for your valued opinion,
Regards,
Romeo
