Q: I bought Sept 2016 and now has a 25% gain. What I have read is that on the balance of probability there is more risk than reward even though the chance the deal won't go through is less than before. What is your view on this? Again, many thanks for your opinion.

Question is what other Canadian Companies will benefit from the aging of Canadians. I read that 10,000 Americans a day reach the age of 65 ( The Baby Boomers ) and this will continue for the next 18 years. That is a lot of people that will need some form of assistance. We must have similar demographics in Canada.
What U S Companies fall into this category as well as Canadian Companies Thanks very much. bob

Q: Hi 5iResearch Team,
I have a full position on CVS for just over a year the stock has not been doing great over this period of time. I understand from a piece on BNN that Amazon is looking at getting into the pharmacy business.
If indeed that comes to past, I imagine it would impact negatively on pharmacies such as CVS, Walgreen, etc. So I am contemplating of liquidating my position on CVS. Your comments and thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Harry

Q: Hello 5i.
I'm currently underwater with Chicago bridge & Iron (cbi)approx. 25%. stock has taken a beating since reporting less than stellar earnings with a weak outlook for the rest of 2017. I know the energy sector is a big reason for this. Although I have a long term view 2-3 yrs for stocks in general, should I ride this out or should I take my losses and move on? If so, can you suggest something within the same sector US or CDN exchange.

Q: On a past BNN Market Call appearance by Ryan, I believe he commented on Kinaxis saying something along the lines that this stock could drop 20% in a year but investors need to understand the long term outlook for this stock and should continue to hold.
What other US or Canadian stocks would you place in this same category? Would Shopify or Tucows be included in this list?
I'm reading a book called The Big Money: Seven Steps to Picking Great Stocks and Finding Financial Security by Frederick R. Kobrick and he shares a similar view of thinking big for the long term. It's a great read and I highly recommend it.

With the recent announcement of job cuts, which will save money in the long-run but does not bold well with their talks of expansion, what should I do with this investment.
Thanking you in advance.

Q: Gentlemen,
Xerox was a recent top pick on bnn as a value play. Can you offer your thoughts on the company. I was considering it as an addition to my mom's ( 63 years, retired) RRSP, at a 2% weighting. Please advise.
Thank you,
Karim Rahim

Q: What are the three closet competitors in the same industry, by market valve, to WCC.
Q: Can you give me your thoughts on Trinity Industries? Some analysts love it others don't. There has been some insider movement as well that has since an increase in holdings. Three analysts have rated it with a sell, five have given a hold rating and two have assigned a buy rating to the company’s stock. The company has a consensus rating of “Hold” and a consensus target price of $26.50. I don't know what to think anymore!
