Q: In order to build some exposure to the U.S. Market I am considering investing 30% in VUN, 30% in VGG and the rest in VGG. Would you consider any changes to the above selections and allocations?

Thanks to the team
Merry Christmas to all.

Q: I would appreciate your opinion of the value, or lack thereof, that the shares of Atlassian Corporation (TEAM) might currently offer? I'm seeking investments that might reasonably be able to provide me with a 10% or better, total return over the next 12 months.

Regardless of your opinion of Atlassian; any suggestions you might have for other firms which one might reasonably be able to expect a 10% total return or better from, over the coming year, would also be welcome.

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas! Cheers and thank you!

Q: Hi Team,

My U.S account is extremely heavy in the Tech sector and it’s time to scale back a couple of names to properly diversify. After making significant money on the listed names what do you suggest me dropping?

Thx
Marco

Q: Looking over the previous questions on UFS you note debt his a bit too high and little growth has been observed.
1) If we assume online shopping trend strengthens do you think this will increase UPS’s profitability?
2) Does UPS produce the cardboard used to make packaging?
3) Assuming UPS produces newsprint do you think any strengthening in cardboard prices will will be matched with weakness in newsprint prices leading to zero net gain (or worse)?
4) Does UPS own their electricity generation infrastructure and if so is it fully utilized or do they have surplus which could be sold?
5) How vulnerable is UPS to competition from other companies?
I note since the last question in August UPS’s share price has increased by about $8 and set a new high on December 15th on rising volume. Momentum seems to be swinging to the positive.
Thanks,
Jim

Q: Capital preservation and sustainable growth at reasonable cost is key for us . Not looking for income . Long term timeframe . Don't do momentum . Have portfolio of Canadian large caps that have significant operations outside of Canada . For more diversification , we need exposure to U.S. large caps (not financials or commodities ).U.S. estate taxes major consideration for us. Directly held U.S. equities would be U.S. situs assets . Current U.S. deliberations re Federal Estate Tax will not eliminate this concern in the longer term . We plan to add a portfolio of sustainable U.S. large caps that have significant international operations .Mawer U.S. Equity Fund (MAW 108) is a possibility. The 1.19% MER is a factor, given the amounts involved . Could you identify one or more "Canada-Domiciled " ETF/s that would reasonably align with our objectives ? Could you also identify pertinent sources we could access . Thanks.
