Many thanks.

Q: Hello,
What are your thoughts on AMD after their most recent earnings report.
Also, how much should exchange between the Canadian and US dollar factor into trade decisions.
Thanks,
Nick

Q: Hello Peter,
I read your article on 'smaller' US stocks and have been keeping an eye and buying some of your recommendations.
Since then, CGNX has gone up quite a bit. With decent enough results this quarter it has zoomed. It was very expensive P/E multiple to begin with and now even more. But on the other hand, tech stocks are on fire and there is no indication of a slow down.
I am hesitating between CGNX and FLIR, which has also done well. Two different businesses. Where would you suggest I put the money? Or should I wait out the summer for a correction and maybe sector shifts?
Thank you in advance for your opinion.

Q: Hello Folks:
I have owned GE in our portfolio for a number of years however am disenchanted with it's performance, and have limited hope of a shorter term fix, because of it's complexity and size. I do not own any teck stocks and considering google or microsoft. Allowing I am 70 years of age would I be foolish to go with google, even with it not having a dividend. I feel google has much more upside.
Thanks for everything
brian

Q: Can you give me the low down on what just happened to this co. Picked it up on recommendation from another analyst.based on what you see can you give me your opinion.

Q: Could you give me your opinion on Zendesk (ZEN). How would it compare to Shopify? Thanks, Mark
Q: Can I have your opinion on the share price decrease for CSX over the last month. It appears there is a lot of employee pushback to the changes as well as dissatisfied customers. Has the shine come off of Hunter Harrison?
Q: I am considering moving part of my profit in shopify to either cognex, amazon or boeing.
Which of the 3 would you recommend today?

Q: Can you explain currency hedging with a SIMPLE example. Maybe include when it would be advantageous to use a hedged product versus unhedged. I don't think I'm slow, but it's just not clear to me, and I may not be alone.

Q: Further to Eddie's question, would any US based companies have issues getting into the marijuana industry (even outside of the US) if the industry wasn't legal at a Federal level in the US? I have heard of US individuals avoiding investments in this area just to be cautious.
Q: Hi 5i,
I'm thinking on adding ZWH 5%-10% to my RRSP to cover my US exposure. This is for a income portfolio.
My portfolio now consist of 50% GIC's and
5% in each of the following stock.. BNS,EMA,ECI,ENB,SRU.UN,BCE.
10% in CDV.
Can you suggest another ETF that would fit better then ZWH? Or would you consider ZWU a better position. I see 5i income portfolio doesn't have any US equity holdings.
Would the US dividend be tax excempt within the ETF?
I look foreward to your answers.
Thank for all the excellent info!!

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I see that CDI is being bought out by AEI...a private company... for $8.25 per share. So please explain what this means for CDI. Will they keep there name and become an affiliate or just become AEI? I believe AEI is a private company...if so does that mean CDI will no longer be traded on the exchange? One last question...the board seems pleased with this merger...will CDI have any ability to move higher than $8.25 in the next year...time to sell or better hold for awhile? I am perplexed...
Thanks!
