Q: SHOP and SQ seem to have a lot of features in common wrt their digital commerce platforms.
Do you have a preference for one over the other or should one simply hedge the situation by holding equal positions in both?
And also, are there any competitors out there that could significantly interfere with their high growth rates.
Thanks - James.

Q: Hi team,
I like SQ and I know it is one of your favourites. It had a big sell-off, with all other tech, but now has the CFO leaving. I always liked Sarah Friar as I thought she was a real driving power behind SQ. To me, she is not just your everyday CFO. She knew what to say to the markets. For example, she would tone down Dorsey when he went too far over the top on crypto transactions earlier the year. As you know, Dorsey is also CEO of TWTR and splits his time half and half between SQ and TWTR. The market was not overly concerned with this arrangement as long as Friar was there for SQ. With a weaker management team now and given the TWTR onus also on Dorsey, does this temper your outlook for SQ?
Thanks again,
dave

Q: Hi Team. As a Honeywell shareholder, I received a few Garrett Motion Technology shares, in a spin-off. Of course, I'm down immediately, but the question is, would you sell, or hold, or consider adding more?

Q: Can you think of any reason why Visa is being hit harder then the S&P of late? Is there any specific thesis that ties Visa to the negative sentiment surrounding raising bond yields? I've been looking to buy this company for a very long time hoping for a pull back and finally bought a little. Would you continue to add or wait for further pull back. My only other US financial is Blackstone and it has also taken a beating lately. Thanks

Q: I am a buy-and-hold, dividend/dividend growth investor. I am contemplating exiting my position in PG and establishing a full position in PBH, for a long term hold. Would 5i endorse this move? How long do you think PBH will be able to sustain its very impressive dividend growth rate? Thank you.

Q: Good evening

Are there any data centre REITs that you would recommend. This is a growth dsector, but P/Es are very high. Alternatively, are there other REIT sub-sectors [such as gaming, 5G towers] that you would prefer. I am looking for REITs that can sustain high interest rates sand continue to grow and throw off decent yield.
Thx
Sam

Q: A recent Globe & Mail article listed a few examples of medical technology stocks. One could add others - ISRG. Could you comment on this sub-sector and recommend your top 2 or 3 Cdn and US stocks for long-term, and what is it about these that stands out in terms of unique contribution to healthcare and reduced healthcare costs.
