Q: I'm contemplating replacing my WPC.N with IRM.N. Could you please give me your view on which you feel would be the better choice going forward for a dividend growth investor. IRM has had better growth than WPC but their debt is higher. Would this make them a greater risk in the rising interest rate environment?

Looking to increase US exposure to healthcare stocks and narrowed down to EXAS, , NVRO, NUVA and ABAX. In your opinion which companies offer healthy growth in short to long term and given a choice which 2 companies would you pick based on forward P/E, PEG and price momentum? Thanks so much.

Q: I have a position in my US dollar rrsp account in HACK and read of the management issues currently in litigation. What would you suggest regarding this holding - is it a buy sell or hold and what are your views concerning this issue. Is this likely to adversely affect this ETF longer term. I appreciate your thoughts on whether I ought to hang in or otherwise. Thanks so much.

BMO Covered Call Dow Jones Industrial Average Hedged to CAD ETF (ZWA)
-
BMO US High Dividend Covered Call ETF (ZWH)
Q: What percentage would you put into each of ZWA (hedged) and ZWH (unhedged), for long term, as a rule of thumb, without knowing the rest of one's portfolio, but figure it's a reasonable percentage of one's U.S. component. Thanks for your advice.
Q: Hi Peter and 5i staff,
I have a portfolio of Canadian stocks with reasonable sector weightings. If I were to add an ETF like VFV comprising of US Stocks, my weightings would seem quite high in many of the sectors. Do I need to re-balance ?
Thanks for all the great advice.
Ivan

Q: What do you think of the semiconductor space? Does Texas Instruments or Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing look good?
Q: My daughter-in-law has asked me to opine on these 4 holdings (DDD (3D Systems Corp),JCI (Johnson Controls),Adient PLC F and CNDT Conduent Incorporated) she has.She works in tech in San Francisco. I value greatly your views and though you may not cover these equities if you have any insights for her to either buy sell or hold each of these and any other comments regarding these I would greatly appreciate hearing them. Secondly she has a substantial holding of shares in Cisco acquired through employee stock option. What is your view on Cisco regarding buy sell or hold and whether her capital could be better deployed in other tech names. Thank you sincerely.
Q: Can I please have your comments on Facebook's drop today. I have a nice profit. What are your thoughts going forward? Thanks

Q: I have some US$, and am looking to buy something that won't be hit by rising rates or NAFTA. I think a large US insurance company might work - what do you think. If that makes sense, could you recommend a name or two? Many thanks.
Q: Hello,
What are your thoughts at this time for this company? It seems to be having a hard time getting any traction lately. Is it still worth holding?
Thanks
Luke

Q: With JP Morgan giving their earnings report tomorrow, do you think the tax changes in the United States are reflected in the current pricing? Also do you think at current pricing that it is a good entry point (new record high)? Would you recommend starting a position today before the report or waiting? Would you recommend this being added to an RRSP (no-withholding tax)?
Finally, I have tried to find that blog post that was written a while ago about what account is best to put certain securities (CDN vs. US vs. Dividend (CDN/US)) but I cannot seem to find it. If you would be so kind to provide a link to it I would greatly appreciate it as I find its a great guide for new investors like myself.
Thanks so much for all your advice and great service! I cannot say how much I learn on a daily basis thanks to you and your team!

Q: I would appreciate your comments on the succession plan for BRK. It adds clarity, the two are knowable experienced professionals, they fit the BRK culture, etc. My only downside risk is that they do not have experience within the other companies and capital allocation.
The market seems to approach of it.

Q: Happy New year 5i!!
I have the following US stocks in my TFSA:NVDA,SQ,AMZN,CGNX.
I'd like to add another from the following: Arista, Paypal, Micron or Flir.
I'm not concerned about sectors or size and have a fairly high risk tolerance. If you have a better choice than the ones I've mentioned I'm all ears!
Thanks
Dave
