Q: Hi, I need to raise some USD cash and considering selling Berkshire Hathaway shares (Holding 100 shares). Bought recently at USD220, but shares have languished with the market decline and unable to regain much strength. Recent softness in Apple shares (large BRK holding) also has n't helped. Somehow, Mr Buffet's aura seems to be fading a bit, I feel. In the financial sector, I own no US banks but a decent CDN banks holding. Rest of my small US portfolio is all major FAANG names and DIS/V/MA/UTX. Do you see any major catalysts in near term for BRK B shares, besides market turn around/US China trade deal ? Thanks

Q: I am up about 12% on Broadcom. It is close to historical highs. Do you feel it still has some room to grow. I’m wondering if I should take some profits now or let it ride.
I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks.

Q: May I have your thoughts about Conmed Corporation? They seem to be doing well. Are they profitable with positive cash flow, are they deeply in debt, any insider ownership and do they have a niche which offers some protection from Stryker and other "big boys"? How is their record for beating or at least matching expectations? We already own ISRG for a 3% weighting and PFE having a 3.4% weighting in our healthcare sector.
Thanks,
Jim

Q: I have a question about 769
With two straight winning quarters is this CPG company set for some growth with a hot economy in the US and record unemployment? Do you see the turnaround in any way a result of Hedge Fund Peltz and company or a result of Economy and Unemployment?
Thanks
Lindsay

Q: Thoughts on the recent quarter? Would you lump this company with the likes of NVDA for tech growth? It seems like it has great momentum. Any further thoughts on this name, would it be a good tech/growth addition?
Q: There was a recent report on Qualcomm issued by a short seller that has hammered the stock. Two questions:
Why is it not illegal to short a stock and then issue a damaging report like this?
You have previously recommended QCOM in this space. Is there anything in the short report to change your view?

Q: Why it keeps falling?
Is it worth holding?
Thanks,

Q: Please analyze Lam's earnings...Given that they are Photon Control's largest customer, this should give PHO a lift...Do you see anything in their commentary about the semi conductor industry firming up? How was their guidance?
Q: How seriously should investors be taking the recent European data privacy decision? How will it impact their business model? How similar is it to FB in terms of the decision and will Google also need to spend extraordinary time and money to satisfy regulators.
Q: So we have a new Canada Food Guide. Moving towards a more plant based diet. Seems there's lots of science to prove this is a more healthy direction to move. This brings me to my question. Do you see any investment opportunities related to this new food guide? On the negative side, are there companies that may be impacted negatively?
Q: Please recommend a 5G etf or favorite FG companies.
Thank you !
Thank you !
Q: Hi my question is on Visa/MasterCard. Some consensus says you can tuck away theses stocks for 10 years without too much worry. On the other side, I understand in China and some Asian markets Alibaba uses a different payment system. With emerging blockchain capabilities is there some disruption to Visa's growth. Comments? I am thinking of a new purchase with 3 year time horizon. Do you have a recent report.
Q: Do you think we will see significant retraction in this one to the December lows? I don’t know whether to sell it or buy more.
Q: I have been recommended this stock by a friend...what do you advise on it's current value...it has had quite a ride with a Beta of over 3.5
Q: Target allocation to Tech is up to 17%. Currently, of that amount, I have V at 34% of the sector [less than 6% of total portfolio], GIB at 22%, and the rest as follows: CSU 8%, MSFT and SHOP at 7% each, DOCU at 5%, leaving about less than 20% for investment [could go to 25% if sell DOCU].
My watchlist is broken down into;
a) Tech equipment: SPLK, SNPS, KEYS, NVDA;
b) software: KXS, TTD, TEAM.
Of course, there are so many others that you have recommended.
So, please advise on narrowing the list - building on my current holdings or otherwise.

Q: Could you please compare numbers on AFlac and Chubb in terms of EPS growth, Dividend growth, and debt levels. Do you have a preference? Also, can you please confirm that US common share dividends received in an RRSP are not subject to withholding tax.
Q: I am looking to better allocate some USD in my RRSP. I currently hold IWO and want to build on this with 3 holdings in strong US growth companies/ industries that are proven capital compounders for the long term. I am considering Google and Mastercard and am looking for one more compliment assuming you like the 2 mentioned. Also would you prefer MA over V? My timeframe is 10 years +
Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: Any thoughts on the class action against NVDA?
