Q: Bought CGNX on the high. What is the best way to deal with a stock that reverses like this? Are the fundmentals good? What caused CGNX to fall out of grace? When does one pack it up and say I should move on? Thanks for all your support as always,
Mark
Q: Hello Peter & 5i team,
Our family owns Microsoft, Intel in our portfolio. Ceva reported earning yesterday & lost 12% in stock price. Your thought on this company is very much appreciated. Thank you!
No debt, small cap, 88% owned by institutions, biggest risks-loosing key employees, R&D funding from Israeli government and Middle Eastern turmoils.

Q: What do you think of buying one or two of these companies and holding for 2 years? I own very little oil/gas. What would be your top picks of my choices or any others you'd recommend?
Pls comment on ESIO quarterly earnings and outlook, the stock looks cheap and the earning looked good, but the share price with a big swing and reversed to drop as much as 7% (recovered a bit at time of typing).
Will you be able to tell us why VEEV with its lofty valuation continues to hit new highs almost every day? Is this in anticipation of a good result prior to the Q release? Would you be a buyer at these levels for long-term hold?
Now, I know this is a US company and here is my suggestion: Why would you not officially cover US companies and include in your response whether or not you own the company? 5i members know that you trade in the US and you do not cover US companies because you wish to remain conflict free. Well if you include this extra piece of information, then it will be up to the members to take your partial response or not. I for one would still want to ask you what you think despite your possible conflict of interest. And given the dismal situation of TSX, I am more and more trading in the US. I know that you have built enough trust among 5i members that if you take my suggestion, you will be opening the flood gates. I hope you look into this suggestion seriously, regardless.
Q: Walmart acquiring 77% of Flipcart sets them up for significant increases presence in e-coomerce. I am surprised at the mild response. I am considering taking a full position on WMT. What are your thoughts? Thanks.
Q: Your opinion on the best 8-10 US stocks going forward (based on the metrics that you consider when choosing a company) as well as recognizing the TRUMP effect. I have been holding off on the US since February but now believe there is at least 12 -20 months of positive growth available before the next recession. Thank you.
Q: I hold IRBT as an AI prospect in the US and am down about 20%. Earlier today you mentioned BOX has an AI component. Of the two companies, which do you see as having higher growth prospects for a 5-10 year hold, and risk wise are they similar? Should I consider a switch to BOX? Thanks so much.
Q: My IT stocks have grown to 24% and I want to scale back to 20%. Currently SHOP 7%; ZQQ 7%; KXS 4%; OTEX 4%; PHO 2%. I am thinking of reducing SHOP to 5%; selling ZQQ and OTEX and buying AMZN 4.5% and SQ 4.5%. Your comments greatly appreciated. I know the valuation of OTEX is much lower than either AMZN or SQ but the growth in these two stocks are much higher.
Q: HI Peter, Would you recommend adding to RHS as its price is lower now. Or you would prefer 4-5 companies solid blue chip dividend paying companies to buy and hold ( avoid MER and capture more dividend). In that case also, can you please rank them in order of your preference. UL, PEP, HRL, K, or any other of your favorites.
Much Thanks.
Q: SNAP has been pummelled following it's unpopular re-design. Do you see this company thriving against massive rivals and presenting an opportunity for measureable gains or will it wilt and be taken over for a song?
Thank you.
