Q: Can I please get your opinion of Lin. What do you think about the merger between Praxair and Linde? Do you see this as a good long term investment? Would the 15% widtholding of the dividend apply in an RRSP, as I believe they moved their headquarters out of the USA?

Are you as high on Box now as you have been over the last while? Thoughts on recent earnings? I own this in the TFSA. Worth keeping or can you suggest another company, similar sector with more growth potential. Thanks again

Q: I own some APU shares in a RIF and although it's probably not the best type of investment (Limited Partnership) for a RIF because of the witholding tax in the US, I always thought that the higher dividend compensated for that.

The shares bounced around my purchase price for a long time, showing small gains or losses, but it's now down 21% and I'm not sure whether it's worth keeping.

Would you recommend holding or selling and if you recommend selling, would you give me a few recommendations in the US that pay a dividend that look more promising. I have ENB in the US and plenty of REITS.

Q: I am down 25% on this Robotics and Automation ETF. After learning more about ETF's I feel it is small, and wish I would not have purchased it. What are your thoughts for a 5 year hold?

Q: Mid seventies and only investing in RIFs.

I bought 100 shares of LVS at US$79.93 in June primarily because of the good dividend and it is now off 31%.

There was some good news a few days ago about money flowing back into the casinos in Macao again, but do you see any hope of regaining the lost 31% in the short term, or would I be better off to sell and put the money to work somewhere else?

Q: I'm considering tax loss for FB and returning to it in a month.

It looks like its price is stabilizing now, but I imagine my crystal ball is working as well as anyone elses.

I'm a big fan of the stock but can't see how it can overcome such steady bad press.

Your thoughts please.

Q: I am selling visa either this year or next year. Realising that you can not time the market and considering currency exchange could you advise a possible time to do this. Would this stock have a sharp drop in a recession. Do you think the Canadian dollar will weaken. A lot here so take credits as required. Thank you for the service.
