Q: You have 10K US to invest. Which two US stocks would you invest in today? and why? (~10 yr period).....The trade war in the US is making stocks unstable, in my mind this is temporary until they get things figured out...Do you see US stocks continuing to fall over this trade issue or level out as everyone figures out the sky is not falling? I know this will be just a speculation but I like your take on world events! Thanks Guys I appreciate everything you do daily!!!

Q: I bought qcom just after the settlement. @80.
How badly affected will it be with the huawai
Affair. Would u buy on this dip or perhaps consider selling. I am not sure how badly the revenue and earnings will be affected. Do u think this will disappear if trump & China come to an agreement or is 5G and the players going to be ongoing even with tariff wars stop..thank u for your insight.

Q: Hello team,

Would you please compare and contrast these two SAAS companies. I appreciate it if you can comment on their moat and and market as well as competition, quality of business, current valuation, momentum, and financial strength.

I know you like them both, but I have money only for one and I am wondering which one has more torque and a brighter future, for it is current growth is going to only accelerate further.

Thank you very much indeed for being the referee here.

Q: EOLS has fallen a lot on the news that one of their large investors is selling 4 million shares to ML. Does this drop make sense to you. The stock was 29 dollars a few weeks ago and now less than 17 dollars. What do you think? Do you think it will recover and should I hold my position or sell.

Q: Currently hold both DOW and CCL.B. Is this too much of a "similar" thing as both are involved in packaging. If forced to choose one, which would you prefer. Thanks as usual.

Q: Hi team,

It’s been a while since a question on PYPL. I have held SQ for a long time, but I am starting to warm up to PYPL’s outlook. I have read a number of positive comments on PYPL’s Venmo app, that competes directly with SQ’s payment app. Venmo seems to be growing nicely and closing the gap behind SQ in monthly transactions in a very competitive payments space. PYPL seems to have better momentum as well. SQ has always been one of your favourites and mine as well but to me PYPL looks attractive here. I am thinking about shifting some SQ funds to PYPL. It would help tone down my beta as well. What is your outlook these days for PYPL in comparison to SQ?

Thanks again.
Dave

Q: Hi Peter and Company:
I am a growth investor, presently down on above 4 Canadian and 5 US companies.
Should I keep, sell, add or replace e.g. GC with TSGI.
Since US market usually outperforms CAN market I am fine buying all best US growth
companies that you will recommend...…..or mixture of US and CAN companies. Long term hold fine but not required. I will trade as required, i.e. when becoming aware of it. E.g. missed selling MX, where I had an nice gain but no alert to sell and now a significant loss.
Thanks for your advice

Q: What is your view on 3M as a long term investment? I've always heard great things about this company and the shares always seem to sell at a premium, but when I take a look at growth either top or bottom line, it always fails to impress. What am I missing? Opportunity to pick up some shares here for the long term on the cheap with the recent drop?
