I have been waiting on the sidelines to buy into the October volatility as we go into the end of the year seasonal strength. What would your sector preference and ranking be between industrials /materials/technology?
In the meantime tech has almost recouped its losses.
I have been dithering between AMD and MRVL and both have gone up nicely. Would you suggest I buy now (and which); or wait for a pullback end of month? I do have NVDA and QCOM, am a growth investor and any suggestions if I should keep QCOM or migrate to one or both of the two mentioned above ?
Thank you in advance for your opinion.
Regards
Rajiv
Q: I have this for a number of years, and think to drop it, as its market performance has been poor. What is your opinion on it. Looking to replace it in a tfsa with any of your recommendations for growth, sector does not matter in view of overall portfolio.
thank you for your excellent services.
Q: I notice CELH has been up and down between $87 and $97 over the past month. Anything causing this? The Entertainer from CNBC was very high on Netflix and Tesla. Netflix's stock dropped on a good earnings report I think because people had bid it up prior to the earnings report. Your opinion is needed before making a final decision on either one. Thank you.
Q: What do you think about this: https://cloudflare.net/news/news-details/2021/Cloudflare-Announces-R2-Storage-Rapid-and-Reliable-S3-Compatible-Object-Storage-Designed-for-the-Edge/default.aspx
Seems like they will be able to compete with Amazon with this product. Is that why the share price has gone vertical since that was released?
Love the Q&A. Thanks for all the hardwork behind the scenes. This service provided has been a boon to all.
Could you please give me a break down of this company's numbers. Is it intriguing enough to begin a position? Worth watching etc. Of course the family connection as well as set up comes to mind here.
Q: The market did not like the muted outlook and the higher capital spending plans that ULTA management presented. There has also been some insider selling recently. Hold or sell?
Q: On Sept 21st I asked a question about Circle. In your response you mentioned.
- Buying the SPAC shares is the same as buying Circle, but note the acquisition has not closed yet.
- Like all SPAC deals we tend to be extra cautious.
Re the above points,
Can you elaborate on the potential concerns specifically with investing in Concord at the moment in lieu of investing in the new company after going public. (For e.g. Can we lose all our money, some of our money.. if the deal does not go thru…? Any other concerns?)
If you have any additional comments re Circle since Sep 21st, a few words would be appreciated. My understanding is that they now have $33B in circulation but do not know much more (and there may not be much more).
Thanks again. Your turn around time is amazing and the quality/detail of your responses is impressive. Keep up the great work. Have a nice day!
Q: I would like to invest in biotech companies for a long term hold (5 to 10 years). What are the top 3 to 5 biotech companies that I should consider investing in?
Q: Is Brunswick worth continuing to hold? They’re probably affected by supply chain issues and they’re investing in electric motor development. Buy, sell or hold?
Q: My 21 year old daughter holds Costco, Unity, Etsy and Crowdstrike in her US TFSA. Should we sell something to buy Nvidia? Or should we start over and sell more than one holding to replace with others? 5i is a great service!
Q: what are your thoughts about GH,would you buy it here?
Or would you prefer another stock in the healthcare?(ABBV)
Why is there so much selling pressure on this stock?
Q: Hi 5i Team,
Do you have a preference for long term growth in US banks? I was considering JP Morgan or Bank of America. Any preference here or other suggestion? Looking for long term growth.
Secondly, could you suggest 5 US stocks with good positive momentum that you would invest in now? Sector is not important for these suggestions.
Thanks,
Linda Nemis
