Q: I have these 2 stocks in my RRSP, each just over 2% weight. I have long standing disappointment with ENB (I am down about 15%). The dividend is impressive but no tax credit with it being in the registered account. I am thinking of selling it and adding to the ABBV. I am well diversified through the rest of my portfolio and am not concerned with reducing by a position. So, questions to you: which of these 2 has better long term potential for overall return? Any concern with going to 4.25 % weight in ABBV? Many thanks for your excellent service.

Q: hi 5i team

2 beginners questions about options

Question 1; This may seem like a silly question. I owned 300 shares of FLGT for a while, then I sold 3 july calls at 47.5 Now the silly question is, when the call expires, do I have to give specific instructions to the brokerage, or do they just see the 300 shares in my account and automatically sell them at 47.50 ? (since I did not place both the buy share order and sell call at the same time).

Question 2a and 2b: For the sake of the question, let's assume a zero bid ask spread. From what I see in the quotes in my account, and suppose the call was to expire at the same prices tomorrow, then I would be better (by about 1000$ US) to buy back the calls and sell the shares at the current prices then to let it execute ! I am surprised by that, any comment you can make, does it seem normal ?
Question 2b: then IF I thought the price of the stock would keep going up, it would be better to close out the position now.
many thanks

Q: Hi Team,
I have no exposure to the online gambling theme that seems to have promise for growth. Do you still believe that this is a good theme to be buying into for the long term? And if so, what's the best way to play it? I was thinking Flutter? But, its came a long way from its 52 week lows. What's the chances of it going back to that level and was the rise justified? And do you believe it's uptrend will continue long term? I know you also mentioned before it has a much better valuation than Draftkings, although DKNG still seems to move with more leverage for the time being. I wonder if Flutter will eye a US listing to get their valuation up? I never hear Flutter talked about on sites such as CNBC. ( I assume its because its a European Company and CNBC would rather talk about Draftkings)? Another possiblity I was looking at was Score Media. Please let me know your thoughts.

Also on a seperate topic...CELH has dipped some off its highs. Is it a buy today. And your quick thoughts on how big of potential you see this company having in 5-10yrs. Is it a stock that could multi-bag from here? Deduct as many points as required. Thanks!

Shane.

Q: I want to build an American ETF portfolio of 5-6 ETFs that pay a decent (4%-5%) yield. I have historically bought Canadian hedged ETFs for that purpose however I think there is a possible currency advantage to be had. I have looked at many many ETF questions in the 5i ETF folder and they seem to be very Canadian based. Would you be able to suggest 5-6 US based ETFs or more if you want to add a few more.
Thanks
Norm

Q: Stuck in the country, maybe soon to be stuck in the province. Decided to explore my local lakes and decided to buy a boat. I figure a lot of others are in a similar position. A bit of further thinking got me into the idea of Brunswick Corp. Looks good by the numbers, and I want more US exposure....so would you be a buyer? My current portfolio is pretty conservative and I wouldn't mind mixing it up a bit, as I have 15-20 year time frame.
Thanks for your thoughts

Q: Great article today re the "Phoenix Market". With that in mind, could you please suggest a US stock or two in each major industry sector that you feel is well positioned for growth in the next 5-10 years that you would nevertheless be comfortable stepping into today? (Even if just half a position) Please feel free to deduct the number of credits you deem appropriate.
