Q: I have assembled a few names from the US exchanges that have had a tough few months and are likely experiencing some year end portfolio adjustments, ie, Tax Loss Selling. From the names I have here, can you identify two that you feel will have a better 2022, also curious if you might have an additional name for consideration. Q: Hello 5I.
I have a pretty well balanced portfolio and am currently a little overweight tech. That said I am torn on weather to take a loss on $Sq and buy something like $CRWD or $Apps as I want to keep the growth tech. I am down 20%. The tax write off is a small help but not the decision maker. With that is mind do you think $sq has more upside vs the other 2 listed? Would you recommend I just stay the course with $SQ?

Q: What a dilemma. Apple is the best performing stock in what is supposed to be a relatively safe and balanced RRSP portfolio. But it has grown to represent 20% of the portfolio. I feel I have to sell a good chunk of this high performance stock in order to correct the balance. Can you suggest what I could buy to replace the shares of Apple I sell?

Q: What are your top 3 U.S. stocks that look promising both in 2022 and beyond. I must admit, other than 2008 and March 2020 I do not recall a period in time where small and mid cap stocks have been crushed like this. Would you consider us in a bear market, even though the large caps mask this and markets at near all time highs?

Q: Curious to hear your thoughts about CET:NYSE, Central Securities, as a potential 5- to 10-year hold for diversification, some income and capital appreciation. Also, would it make sense to hold this in addition to BRK.B, BX, and a few ETFs (VGRO, VTV, VWO)? Thank you!
