Q: I see a notation on the Globe Investor website that Matterport was “formerly known as Gores Holdings VI”. I see “The Gores Group” still exists, and references a 2021 “transaction” with respect to Matterport. I assume that they were somehow involved with private financing and helping take Matterport public? Can you provide any colour commentary on Matterport’s history before their shares started trading earlier this year? I assume financial history is difficult to come by if they weren’t publicly traded?

Q: I have been holding ATVI for over a decade, I enjoyed the ride up and I'm painfully watching it's decline because of the the leadership controversy. I believe the stock is worth holding if the current CEO is ousted to help with the culture change.

Do you agree? If not, any suggestions where to move my money in the same space for long term growth.

Q: I have TSLA, NIO in EV play. They did well. I reduced NIO holding to reduce overall exposure to Chinese market. I saw CRNC got hammered today. Is it a good buy opportunity? What is a good long term buy right now if CRNC is not?

Q: I currently am not set up to invest in US stocks. What do you think about the 10 CDR stocks currently listed on the TSX? If you like that vehicle, are there any in that group that you like more than others?

Q: Looking to buy one or both of these companies in light of recent weakness, this would either be for a taxable account or an RRSP (have some room in both for a new position). Would you hold off for now? Which would you buy first and what would you consider an attractive price? Thank you.

Q: In reflecting on the next direction to place some funds I looked at the performance of the Russel 2000 fund in your growth portfolio. Then looked at some alternatives in the Vanguard family of US based small cap and Russel ETFs. Going more mid or small cap seems appealing but where would your preference lies or is it in the current ETF you hold in the growth portfolio?
