Q: AEO seems to have great numbers but incredible volatility. Is it a reasonably safe dividend stock in the context of an otherwise bank, insurance company and money-manager heavy portfolio?

Q: Can you provide me with an artificial intelligence ETF both canadian and US.
Also what large and small capstocks are at the forefront of this new trend.
Sort of like Microsoft, intel and Cisco in their infancy.

Q: What are your thoughts on capri.
It appears to be trading at 1.2x sales which seems very low.

Q: With 1,000 shares of Alexco I will wind up with 116 shares of Hecla. I'm inclined to just sell and take my losses since I have no other US stocks. Any suggestions??

Q: I own a few hundred shares in Zim largely for the dividend. Today they announced an increase in the quarterly dividend payable Sept 8th to $4.75 yet the shares dropped from over $50. US to under $48. Can you explain this strange behavior. I would have expected it to go the other way.

Q: I have taken a look at my distribution of investments, and determined that I have more room to enter an additional position in the technology space. I was gung-ho on starting a position with Google, until I discovered that Sylogist is currently paying a 6.86% dividend (as of yesterday's closing share price). I currently lean towards investing in more established companies that have been able to maintain market share in their area of operation, and Google definitely fits that description. Would the dividend offer by Sylogist, along with the potential upside, be a more prudent investment with someone who has a five-year time horizon, or is the steady-as-it-goes approach with Google the safer approach? Reuters reported that WMT has reached a deal with PARA where WMT offers a PARA plus subscription to its WMT plus members. This is certainly beneficial to WMT members as they get a streaming service for no extra charge. PARA has been languishing for some time, with all the other streamers. Do you see any financial benefits to PARA from this deal any potential boost to its prospects in the streaming wars?

Q: With new electric vehicles coming I would be interested in looking at good investments which will be required for these vehicles. Would a mining stock be best, What stock would you recommend for Lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese, and graphite? What do you think of MTTR’s earnings release? The market seems to like it, for now anyway, but it is a risk on day. While it has negative cash flow, with over $500M cash and equivalents and no debt, is that likely sufficient to fund it until it starts making a profit?

Q: May I have your thoughts on ILMN? Analysts appear to be projecting a weak stock price going forward...but the 8% drop on Friday may be more a result of their comments rather than the latest companies financials. Could these Wall Street firms have already shorted the stock prior to their analyst's comments being issued? I believe the latest earnings are negative compared to a year ago but overall I felt the latest quarter financials weren't too bad. Is the short interest high? Are insiders buying? Is the Reddit crowd circling? I'm sitting at a loss but still prepared to hang-in-there.
