Q: Hello, could you please provide any commentary that you might have on Atlassian's recent earnings call and your feelings on the stock/company. The stock is down quite a bit today.
Q: 5% of my RSP is allocated to a risky/riskier /max growth theme with FB, J, KRBN and NVDA right now. I am looking for 1 or 2 more additions. APPS, U, and CRWD are on my list of considerations. In theory, I could wait 5-10+ yrs for max growth, but knowing my personality, 3-4 yrs is more in line with my expectations. Pls suggest some recommendations (does not have to be from my list) - Thank you.
Q: Can I please have your thoughts and analysis on Thermo Fisher's recently announced Q1 results. Any comments would be appreciated. Do you see this stock as a long trem hold. Thank You.
Q: I am interested in these two companies for growth. Which do you prefer and why? What would you say is a good entry point for them? Would you tend to wait to see what happens with these stock ie further volatility and declines? Thanks!
I allocated almost same dollar amount in Meta (FB) (formerly known as Facebook), Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Alphabet (GOOG), NVDA and others. I invested a bit heavily in tech stocks and got hammered. I was disappointed in the business model of Meta lately. Today after trading hours, Meta released earnings and the price jumped. I think this may be a good opportunity to sell tomorrow and switch to some non-tech sectors. How do you think? What one or two names would you recommend to invest now to diversify away from high growth stocks?
Q: Back in November 2021, you mentioned this is a stock that is trading at an expensive price and would rather wait. Do you believe this is a decent time to buy? I'm looking at 1-2% of my portfolio.
Thanks
Q: What is the best way to play energy decarbonization over the next decade? Hydrostor looks very interesting to me but is not public. Is there perhaps an indirect way to get involved?
Q: My portfolio is significantly over-weight tech and currently paying the price. Semi's (AMD, NVDA, SMH) had propped me up but not anymore. That's the bad news, good news is i have a sizable portion of cash to deploy. Over the next few months, where would you suggest deploying new cash? Which stocks, etf's, or sectors have been unjustly hit the hardest?
The rest of my portfolio is anchored by XIU, BAM, BIP, ENB, CNQ, etc.
Q: Continuing on my last question, how does LAZ compare with FSZ and FC? Is it about the same about the same risk vs safety? Do you see it as better value even though slightly less dividend than the others? How might higher interest rates effect it?Thanks.
Q: Technology stocks have been beaten up. I am thinking of taking a position for 5 years. Would you like either of these companies at the current price?
