Q: Would you have a proxy for GH and VEEV and would you buy them back in 30 days or would you just sit it out and wait for a rebound?

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I own the above noted stocks as a smaller portion of my portfolio of higher risk names. All of these names are down other than CTS. Do you see any of these names as ones that I should sell as part of a portfolio clean up?

PFE ($49.36) has had a nice run. Any worries of a backlash against them as we all keep getting jabs and yet keep getting COVID? The virus mutates faster than they can come up with new vaccines. Will investors start to worry that this giant boost to revenue may disappear?
-And side question-how have your portfolios fared this year? Just curious since you don't own any Canadian stocks, have you managed to avoid major declines?

Q: My question relates to Tesla's auto division and indirectly, Toyota :
My son predicts that most major auto manufacturers will go bankrupt or become mere shadows of their former selves by the end of the decade. He cites Tesla's manufacturing innovations as the cause (gigacasting, vertical integration, constant design iteration) as a few of the unassailable competitive advantages that no other manufacturer is even trying to copy at this time.
How does a debt-laden, auto company like Toyota expect to be able to be competitive in the EV marketplace and is this a good time as any to move into TSLA stock?

Q: Hi,
I'm interested in these US REITs. Can you rank them best to worst for a longterm holder, and comment on the best account type to hold them in?
I know you've said that in general REITs are best held in a TFSA, but are there any exceptions to that guideline among them.

Q: Thoughts on this company's metrics if one's portfolio is low in consumer staples. Buy, sell, or hold? If you don't like which consumer staples companies in the US are better and is it a bad time to add knowing they have done well in a bad market. Thinking people may sell and rotate into tech. I own all the above stocks and have ridden them up and down in this market, so my risk tolerance is fairly high.
