Q: What are thoughts on HireQuest, Inc. (HQI). The share price seems to have broken out this year. Their niche seems to be quite timely given the labour market situation in the U.S. They also appear to be consolidating a highly fragmented industry (which is something I always like to see). Any thoughts or aspects which I may be missing?

Thanks,
Scott

Q: Happy New year to the 5i Team,

Nice to see the CEO and other insiders buying on Dec 29th, same day I decided to take a position.

My request is, please provide comparison metrics to their piers in this space. In a past post you mentioned it could be a takeover candidate, who would possibly be interested if you had to guess?

Thanks again for your valuable service!

Q: Hello again and thanks for your insights on AGNC, I think I will set that one aside for now. Searching the Q&A I have assembled this list of 4 companies for diversified exposure to residential and industrial real estate in Canada and the US (a bit of global with Prologis is appealing). In your opinion does this group provide complementary exposure? Can you suggest an addition to this list or is there one that you would remove?

Q: Hello Peter,
IEP looks like a holding company operating various businesses. It has a peak of over $100 in 2004 and 2014, and now it is half of that value. The dividend is high at 16 percent. Is that something to worry about? Also, if i am to invest in this stock, is it better in an RRSP as outside RRSP or TFSA I may have to deal with tax forms as it is an LP in the US? Thanks very much.

Q: I am interested in investing part of my TFSA in cyber security US/Canada stocks/ETFs.
Are Cyber Security ETF (CYBR-T) and Evolve Cyber Security ETF (CAD Hedged) good buy? Are CrowdStrike (NASDAQ:CRWD) and Palantir Technologies (NYSE:PLTR) good buy at their current price levels and are they high risk/high valuation, strong growth stocks?
Please provide the preference of your choices of three cyber security stocks and three ETFs and rank them, and brief reasons why you choose those stocks/ETFs. Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter and team,
While Becton Dickinson and Stryker seem to have a lot in common (medical supplies, joint replacement, etc.) their performance has deviated greatly in recent years; (over the past year, less than 1% gain for BDX but almost 12% for SYK). The one I own (naturally) is BDX, which also has a lower P/E and a higher dividend. Two questions: (i) any idea why BDX has underperformed SYK so much; (ii) would you sell, hold on, or buy more of what many analysts say is a well-run company in a demographically promising business?
Thanks!

Q: My portfolio is low on utilities and industrials at the moment. It also needs more US and international exposure. Any suggestions for a few stocks that might be good additions at the moment? They'd be long term holds.
