Q: I have $40K US to redeploy I would open 3-4 positions in an unregistered account. My thoughts go to blue chip dividend payers and nothing commodity based that I can let grow for 3-5 years. I do hold the following in this account: GOOG,AMZN,AAPL,CELH,ISRG MSFT,SYK . Your input is much appreciated. David

Q: My wife took early retirement with DB plan. Her RRSP and TFSA are well diversified. She has enough money to invest in about 10 companies. This money is not needed in foreseeable future. However, a small dividend is appreciated along with capital appreciation. It will be invested in a regular account. Can you please suggest top 12 companies.

Q: Hi 5i, First thanks for all the feedback on WELL, but I was hoping for a little more information on the performance, valuation and growth aspect for WELL. Earlier I asked if the one analysts view on valuation and direction of company from a pure tech play to a mix of primary care made any sense. I've always been of the opinion that they were a more tech play. Also if you have any pier/competitor comparisons that woul be great. Thanks again for all your assistance.

Q: Good Morning Peter & team,

Have $6000 to add and do not have enough exposure to chip manufacturing. Was thinking about QCOM but read a few of your comments and don't necessarily like they're dependency on cell phone. NVIDIA has had the big run up along with a few of the other popular names. Is there a late bloomer/less popular name you might recommend for a 3 - 5 year hold if not longer? Growth is the priority.

Q: Good morning - I understand that AAP is the parent of Carquest, which in our region is a well-run autocrats supplier. I know some shop owners personally and am impressed with how professionally the Carquest organization is run ( at least at the regional level). Then I look at the AAP stock history and analyst comments and it does not look great. What are your thoughts on AAP? Sleeper or stay away?

Q: Long term holding and price appreciation of AAPL and NVDA has led to a U.S. portion of a registered portfolio weighting of 28% and 17% respectively. I'd like to take some profits on these positions and trim these weightings to diversify. Q: I am considering selling PFE for tax loss. In your opinion is this a good time to sell? Secondly - if I did sell - what might be a good proxy to buy in the meantime and/or - would it be beneficial to rebuy PFE after 30 days. I already have a 4% position in ABBV.
