Q: Would you be agreeable to selling BABA for tax loss and replacing it with PINTEREST? Baba is cheap but the China problem does not look like ending any time soon and Pinterest also looks attractive. Thankyou If you have a better tech idea feel free to mention it.

Q: I'm hearing that pharma and biotech company valuations are at multi year lows. With one chart showing the percentage of US biotechs with market caps below cash value is at a 25 year high, and by a wide margin. Do you feel this sector shows a big opportunity to get good companies for cheap in a sector that will one day improve? If so what companies look best to you in Canada or US? Are there any sectors that are more beaten up? Thx

Q: What do you think of twilio's downside from here? Is it a company that that you like once the tech market's calm down. Where do you think the long term upside potential for this company is? What are the pros and cons of this stock, concerning the market they are in and where they rank in it, the financial ratios, insider buying/selling ? Would you consider it a buy, hold or sell at this time? Is this and will this be a dominant player? Thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide the names of some beaten down stocks that have a decent chance of recovery over the next year or two. This is a relatively short timeline but I'm looking for companies that still have a good balance sheet, are well managed, have good prospects, and yet have still been caught in the downdraft along with the negative market sentiment. Any sector and any market cap but with a focus on small to mid-cap. Thank you.

Q: Based on todays prices, which of the beaten up tech is the "best" (most likely to do well moving forward, best monopoly / moat safety, most safe earnings, best books today, best P/E) to buy for a long term hold (over ten years)?

qualifying them on the above characteristics would be appreciated or any other variable that you feel is important.

If my list missed any other tech considerations, please let me know.

thanks

Ernie

Q: Hi, I apologize if this has already been asked - but I am wondering what a Ukraine crisis might do to semiconductors and Nvda in particular (I also have amd and Nxpi). I understand some raw materials used in the chips comes from the Ukraine. I realize it’s hard to say for sure in this market. Also, do you like Nvda at this point? It was disappointing to see it react poorly to what looked like great results. Thanks - and happy family day weekend to the team and readers.
