Q: My industrial portfolio currently has a light exposure to the industrial sector. I’d like to diversify by adding some industrial stocks in the US and Canada. Additionally, in the consumer sector, I already hold ATD, TOY, PBH, ULTA, and COST. To further enhance my consumer holdings, could you recommend several consumer stocks in the US and one or two in Canada? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Q: Hi guys,

With the pending deal of AQN to sell there stake to the PE company, do you think they will just let the company plod along with the high dividend OR would they take steps to improve its overall business to increase share price? In other words what will be the mandate of the takeover company?

Q: I own STAG and it had a nice run at the end of 2023 but has come down a bit since, and it’s share price is about the same from a year ago. It’s in a stable real estate sector and I don’t mind holding onto it if it has some decent growth potential (by REIT standards), but if you think it’s struggling to grow, I may look for a better REIT. Thoughts?

Q: hi group i am very light on financials does it make sense to invest in the smaller companies for exposure to the financial sector. Q: I have held XLP for sometime and thought it may be better to hold a few consumer defensive stocks instead for better overall performance. Also, XLP has a high percentage of tobacco companies that would prefer not to hold.

Q: I recently read an interview with Jensen Huang from back in 2017 where he went on record stating that AI will eat the software industry. It's a bold statement, but it appears many are expecting this thesis to play out. So my question is 2 fold.... do you see the larger upside within Tech on the chips side (picks and shovels) vs software going forward? And, is the acquisition and vertical software integration model with CSU the safer play within the software industry and more immune to declining margins like we recently saw with large enterprise software companies like CRM. Q: Just sold some Apple stock for two reasons. One, because the position was too large and two my potion in high tech stocks is also too high.
Need to redeploy the funds to healthcare I’m thinking of NVO or LLY.
What would you recommend and an entry point as well as the reason for the choice.
