Q: Good Day,

I picked up CELH and CROX based on the answer to my last question, and added in POWL to boot. Based on my portfolio in my previous question, was POWL something you would consider redundant in my account, or would you be fine with that type of addition in your portfolio.

I have been holding SNPS and CDNS for a minute now, and it just seems to bounce back and forth between +5% and -5%. Are these mostly growers on news and earnings? What are their respective Expected growth rates over the next 1 and 2 years?

This brings me to almost "fully deployed". I have noticed in the last couple weeks that the volatility in the market seems to have increased, and the average of that volatility seems to be sort of flat over this time. I have seen some videos and articles calling for the "AI Bubble" to burst, etc. Do you think there will be a cooling in that space coming? and if that occurs will the market follow it? I've seen many replies where you state that NVDA has a clear 18 month runway for growth, and thus I imagine the companies that support it as well, does that still hold true in your view? If said cooling could be coming, would it be worth the fees to say, shrink/cut some positions? Or is that too much like timing the market and thus better to stay in?

Thanks for everything,

Q: I want to buy the above 6 stocks at a full position of each in a balanced portfolio for a long time hold. Are there any you wouldn't buy at this time and continue to watch, or any you would buy a half position and watch? Thanks!

Q: I have long held both and am intrigued as they now move in opposite directions. Within the last few months I believe MARA has reached heights 50% greater than today's levels and yet despite the spike in BTC, it falls while MSTR rolls. I understand that MSTR is closer to a pure play on bitcoin whereas MARA is a miner and has operating risks and would ask if you can explain what has led to MARA being punished as BTC rose from 50k to 70? If gold goes up, so to do most miners so I'm thinking there as to be more to the story. Lastly, if you believe BTC goes higher, does exposure to a company like MARA who stand to benefit make sense to add or hold?

Q: I am looking for a US listed ETF that holds US listed Dividend Growing Equities. I have found RDVY (First Trust Rising Dividend ETF) and CUD (Ishares US Dividend Growers). Both have relatively high MERs for ETFs (0.49 % and 0.6% respectively). Both have a current distribution of around 2% yield. Is there anything else out there in this segment of the market ? While CUD is hedged I am not too concerned about that at this time. Would you prefer one of these over the other or would you think splitting between the two. I will be holding them in my RRSP and am looking to invest around 1% of my total RRSP holdings in this investment.

Q: Good morning,

In one response to a question on the choice of a International exposure ETF, the 5i preference was VEQT, XEQT and XWD in that order.

Q1. Has you opinion of the order of these Global ETFs changed in any way and given XWD's 5 and 10 year performance?

Q2. Would you kindly explain your rational for ranking XWD ahead of VEQT and XEQT and even HEQT.

Thank you in advance and I look forward to hearing your response.

Q: Last September, you preferred HMC to TM, deeming the former both better and less expensive. Since then, HMC's price has reclaimed its previous high, while TM's has exceeded its high by ~50%, yet their P/E ratios are both miniscule and near-equivalent (0.14 and 0.13, respectively, according to your database.)

Do you still prefer HMC? I ask as TM's semi-contrarian approach to vehicular electrification is starting to look like a better fit with orthodox market expectations than their competitors'.

And what's going on with those P/E ratios? Stellantis and GM are ~5, Ford is ~11; is this much disparity even plausible?

Q: Dear Peter et al:

To a question today on KKR, you had mentioned that you wouldn't be averse to adding to KKR "s position slowly.
Recently Larry Berman one of BNN Bloomberg's regular told the viewers that he has sold his equity and moved all into private equity and private credit lending. He didn't mention which private equity he bought !

BLK,BX,KKR,BN ...which is your favourite now? Anything else that catches your attention?

Many thanks.

Q: Hello 5i,

On Feb 28th 5i provided answers to Jacques and David on the top 10 US and CAD stocks to own in a TFSA. Thank you for that answer.

Can you please provide the top 12 stocks overall (CAD or US) in order of priority that should be in a TFSA? We have both US and CDN funds + CDR's. Diversity is not important at this time and we are anticipating that US stocks will outnumber CAD stocks in the top 12. Funds are not required for 6 years or more.

If this was your TFSA, would you have equal weighting or will one or more of the stocks have a higher weighting compared to other stocks? If yes, can you identify the stock(s) and the % of weighting? We can equal weight the remaining stocks.

Thank you

D&J

Q: I have been watching NVDA grow to an ever more out-sized percentage of my portfolio, and have been meaning to trim, but have delayed while I consider where to put the money.

Can you recommend some US growth options in either the consumer cyclical or healthcare sectors? I have a 5-10 year time range.
