Q: Hi 5i,
Thanks for the great work. Darling Ingredients has been a portfolio disappointment for me. Would you see it ad a hold or sell today?
Thank you!
Q: Hello. I am thinking of entering into a position in Costco.
Thoughts on this as an entry point and how does it compare with the prospects of the industry as a whole?
Q: The IV on this stock is unreal. Its possible to do a short $70 put and $165 call for a profit of $15 if the price remains within those 2 strikes by November 24.
Obviously there are some major risks happening with the company. Do they have any clinical results or anything similar to that happening in the next 3-4 weeks that would cause such a high IV, to your knowlege?
Q: Please rank these companies, or suggest alternatives, as investment opportunities in the build out of the electric grid to accommodate changes in energy delivery - based on their current stock valuations.
Q: IBM pays a nice dividend that has shown good growth over the past 5 years (the last 3 years, not so much). How would you rank it for both income and equity growth going forward? It seems that at one time is was the leader in AI and now it does not seem to get mentioned in that vein.
Q: Would appreciate your comments on the 3rd quarter 2023 financial results for WCN, Waste Connection Inc. The drop in the stock value would seem to indicate
that the market was disappointed. Is it still worth holding or has the outlook changed?
Thank you for your information.
I hold CWW and have decided I'd like to instead concentrate my "water" holdings on two stocks: AWK and XYL. Are there any obvious red flags with these two companies? I know there is no comparison between and ETF and individual stocks.
Q: Hello. Can I please have your top Cdn or U.S. energy stock choices. Could you please compare them and advise if you have a preference or rank them accordingly with an explanation for a 3 week hold. Thank you.
I hold VIG and have decided I'd like to instead concentrate my holdings on two stocks: UNH and V. Are there any obvious red flags with these two companies. I know there is no comparison between and ETF and individual stocks. Sector is not a concern.
I'm looking to reblance my portfolio and would like to take advantages of actual opportunities. I dont have any utilities and energy stocks. Also, I would like to increase my investments into large caps. Which stocks would you recommand? Growth / bakanced oriented.
For utilities, i noticed the drop on bip.un and bep.un but i already own bn. Would you buy of them or just add to bn... or buy something else for better diversification.
Q: Are there global ETF in US /CDA, that offer in priority protection against inflation, and hopefuly also significant dividends + capital appreciation potential.
