Q: Can you comment please on this stock which appears to have solid fundamentals. Other than the normal risks with US municipal corps falling into bankruptcy, are there any other risks or traps such as taxes if owned by non-US accounts etc?

Q: I just returned home from visiting my grandchildren, and my little grandson "con" me into visiting "Gamestop". His real mission was to get version 3 of starwars for video game, and upon leaving I left $70.00 US poorer for the game. Upon returning home I have seen major advertising of all star war games and products by Disney on all major television stations no doubt pushing the Christmas theme.
My question is "would I be too late for the toy game as there appears to be great margins in these products and children really do wish to have latest version of all products"
Could I have your opinion of my thinking, and if you like it what names would you recommend. I was thinking of Hasboro and Mattel.
Just a thought and thanks for your great help.

Q: Dear 5i,

Purchased these stocks prior to the recent correction. Is it time to add, hold or step aside for now? WFC & CSCO are full positions and the others are partial.

Q: Hello folks:
We have quite a bit of cash in our U.S. account and looking for a company or two to expand our U.S. holdings. Currently we hold GE, GILD, BA, CVX, JNJ, PEP, CSX, TSN, JCI, CMI, JPM and BEP.un. I am at a loss as to what would make a good addition... considering Ford. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Q: What do you think about Coke for a long time hold. Have held it for 3+yrs and it is flat other than the currency gain.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan and all at 5i

I am thinking that HD would provide good exposure to the housing and consumer rebound in the US but we have already missed a 5 bagger on this stock in the last 5 years.

Do you think a 5 year time frame for this company would work for initiating a position now?
