Q: I am aware that you dont follow US stocks as closely as Canadian securities, however I respect your opinion and feel free to respond if you are comfortable with the topic. Visa has lost Walmart Canada as a customer and although it is a small portion of their overall business do you see this as a start of a trend towards lower fees and therefore lower earnings. I have held this stock for several years and have done very well. Should I move on? Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i team do you have any opinion on GoPro? This companies stock has come down from highs of 65 to trade in the 9$ range now. Do you think that their move into drones and the new Hero5 be able to save it? Could somebody possible buy them up? Thanks and have a great day
Q: Hello 5i,
Last week i asked a question regarding broad market etf's and you mentionned vun. I failed to specify that i was looking for unhedged versions. My research shows two funds that seem to correspond to vun. They are: vfinx and vfiax. Am i right in that? And if so, i imagine the difference between the two funds is that vfiax is the same fund but needs ten thousand dollars initiat purchase. Am i right in this?
Thanks

Q: The stock prices for these two are $14 apart. I know one is voting shares, but is there any other difference? Which of these two do you prefer and do you recommend it for a long-term hold? Thanks.
Q: It looks as if the Williams Cos mess is coming to a close, but which option to choose? I have 200 WMB in my RIF. I am thinking the cash option would be best and then to buy a U.S. stock with potential. You thoughts please and suggestions?
Q: Dear 5i,
I notice everyone from kids to seniors love wearing sketchers shoes. I read that the company is expanding internationlly. The share price is way off their 52 week high. Do you have any insight into this company and do you think Sketchers is a buy at this time?
Thanks,
Kerri

Q: What is your opinion on Abbot Labs? It has gone down steadily for the last year and I doubt whether it will do any recovering before the election - or even after whoever gets in. Yet it seems the analysts are giving it a positive rating. Thanks guys.
Q: Could you please provide your analysis of this shipping co. stock DHT Holdings. ? Thanx Robbie
Q: In its most recent SEC filing, billionaire Carl Icahn’s Icahn Enterprises LP (NASDAQ: IEP) disclosed a 149 percent net short position in U.S. stocks. IEP has been declining since this position was taken yet in the last few days the market and the circumstances surrounding the market have been negative. I would anticipate that IEP should rise against this situation based on its rather substantial net short position but this doesn't seem to be the case. Do you see any reason why the shares of IEP are reacting in this manner?

Q: Are there any companies/organizations in the Artificial Intelligence sector that 5i believes are good long-term investment opportunities; perhaps focusing application to diagnostic medicine. (Not so interested in driver-less cars, but believe that there must be tremendous long-term plays for companies perfecting diagnostic tools, for example.)
Thanks for your excellent investment analysis.

Q: What is your opinion about holding AIG? Would it be best to sell?
Q: When BIN got taken over I used the money to buy RSG over WCN. I have no complaints with either performance or dividend, but wonder which of the two you would prefer going forward and why.
Thanks you
Thanks you
Q: Sorry, I should have clarified in my previous question, that I was looking for a Dow etf on the U.S. exchange as I want to purchase it in usd. Can you recommend one?
Since I currently only own IWO i thought the Dow would add a bit more stability and income than an s and p etf. Is this a good strategy?

Q: David's Tea (dtea) What are your thoughts on this company to start a small position for a long term hold.
Q: A question related to portfolio weightings. I used to only have individual stock names and a fairly equal balance across various sectors. I just purchased an market ETF the other day (VUN) to get additional exposure and classified it as "other", but it didn't feel right when I noticed that the weighting of my other sectors went down.
As an example, if I had x% in a particular sector, but made a large contribution due to new cash into a market ETF, the original x% in that sector would now show up lower in my own calculations. How do you account for this? I don't want to be overleveraged in a particular sector by mistake.
