Q: I have LSPD at a loss in my TFSA. A two year chart suggest both NVEI and LSPD have dropped about 75% from their highs. With no tax loss benefit, is it worth switching to NVEI. (I am in no particular need of cash from this account for many years, if ever.)

Q: According to the July 18 news release from CSU:

"The Company’s quarterly results will be disseminated via press release and made available on the Company’s website ( www.csisoftware.com ) and SEDAR, after markets close on Friday, August 11, 2023."

Is it normal for companies to release their results after market close ON A FRIDAY?

Politicians want to release bad news at the end of the day on a Friday, especially before a long weekend. So I am wondering if a company would follow suit by releasing bad news at the end of the week after the market closes.

I am not expecting bad news, but I can't recall a company like CSU releasing their results after the markets are closed on a Friday.

Q: If I'm correct, 5i likes SHOP and has been suggesting it's a top growth prospect. Can you explain what's happening with the stock since it released earnings. It beat estimates and provided what I thought was a good future picture. But the stock has been dropping. 5i has said if you liked the stock before earnings release, you should like it much more now. It seems analysts see something negative as most have been maintaining a 'hold' rating or moving to sell. I don't see any upgrades but maybe I missed them. Also, insiders have been net sellers of late. Can you provide an assessment of things? Stock has had a very good ride so far this year. What price do you see as level of support? How low might it go? Is it still a top growth pick? thanks

Q: Based on the recent earnings report it looks like Nuvei's growth is challenged. The announcement of a modest dividend appears to be an effort to mollify negative sentiment. Given the recent negative momentum and the muted forward guidance, please give your opinion on continuing to hold at a considerable loss (TFSA) vs selling and redeploying the cash to add to either TRI or ATS. Thank you. Please use as many credits as you need.
