Q: Can you comment on the results just reported by Open Text, they were good and they initiated a dividend but I am a bit confused by the market response, the shares rose over 10 percent? doesn't this seem a bit excessive?

Q: Hi your views since your last update on Open Text (OTC). They just announced their 1st dividend? Is it one of those gems you once past mentioned about "1st dividend paying companies often do great"? I wonder why they would issue it when at times they've missed earnings or do you think otherwise ... Thx.
Q: Would like your opinion on Thompson Reuters for long term hold.

Q: Hi 5i Team, can you give me your comments on Versapay, VPY. i have wanted to take a position for a while and it is pulling back now. What is causing the pullback and any thoughts on good entry pt?
Q: Hi Peter,
Can you please tell me what you think of Qualcom, QCOM and whether it would be a good time to purchase this company? I am not sure that Buffet would be interested (not a simple business), but do you think it is a good long term investment. Thank you.

Q: Hello, I am thinking about buying BYD and/or MDA. Is this a good entry point for those stocks or should I wait for more weakness. Any positive earnings surprises anticipated for either company? Both seem pretty stable even in this uncertain market.
Q: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-investor/investment-ideas/wi-lan-is-no-investment-for-a-senior/article11347244/ůmr. Mr. Hodson. I thought of sending you the above regarding Wi-Lan (WIN). Any particular comment? Thank you for your attention regarding a once-loved, but increasingly annoying stock. Should you look into the comments, you will see some investors are still supporting the stock, as much as you do. Regards.
Q: wow this thing is taking a pounding. Not sure if its trading along with the broader market (which makes no sense to me). How do you give this stock such a great rating given its model of 'big elephant' hunter? Its lost 20% of its value on the stock in 45 days ish because the elephant is hiding??
Q: Peter, any updated thoughts on Apple (AAPL) since your comments earlier this year? Seems cheap. I have held for some time but am also happy to get out and redeploy the cash. 'Dead' money for a year or more is fine for me as I can't imagine it dropping another 33% unless something materially changes. Thanks!
Q: Can you please provide an opinion on CGI group, I saw Royal bank gave it an upgrade yesterday.
Q: BioExx Specialty Proteins- BXI is a company in Sask that specializes in extracting Protein from Canola and Oilseed. They ran into trouble about a year ago and have been looking for a partner. They look like they are heading to "0". Do you have any insight into the company and their prospects?

Q: At these prices I am extremely bullish on Wilan. It is very , very cheap at these prices.
Even though I am bullish on the SP going forward, i do not think the WILAN BOD or Executive management deserves to be rewarded with Options Plan as proposed this year.
I beleive, when they deliver & SP performs, they should be rewared then. What are your thoughts on how shareholders should vote on their proxy' this year?

Q: Can you comment on the recent news on WIN, your take? What are the chances of a settlement in your opinion. Thanks as always, really appreciate the service!
Q: Please give me your opinion on DCI as a growth stock and if you believe there will be more acquisitions in the near future.
Q: Peter and team,
I'm a new member and first off just want to say that I find the info and responses provided on the website to be awesome. Easy to understand, thoughtful but to the point. I've watched Peter on BNN over the past couple of years, and always came away impressed with what you had to say, very glad that I finally made the decision to sign up with 5i.
Enough butt kissing, my question is on Bombardier. I consider Bombardier to be a core 2-5 year holding in my portfolio (currently slightly above my equal weight of 5%). My rationale is 3 fold, 1. trading near historical lows, 2. healthy pipeline of contracts, 3. Heavy political support for the company, and aerospace industry as a whole. Having said that, its still aerospace and therefore a huge risk.
What are your opinions of this company looking out in the mid term, 2-5 years, and even the Canadian aerospace industry for that matter? Are you with this as a core holding, or recommend that I look elsewhere for my Aerospace needs (ie. your recommended MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.)?
Thanks!
Ray

Q: Could I seek your wisdom on AHH-T, Aastra Tech. ? I have been watching this stock and waiting for an opportunity to get in. Now @ $18.42. As it is experiencing a down turn I have seen no news for the cause (other than market direction). Morning star shows a Intrinsic Value Estimate of $21.03.
Your thoughts please?

Q: Peter and team,
Recently bought some AYA after watching Peter's summation of their operations. Plan on holding and hopefully averaging up over the next 6 to 15 months. Do you have any ideas what would be the near to mid term catalysts for AYA? Thanks Smokey
