Q: Hi,

Have you heard about a company LXV. This company is launching a social website Mobio on Dec 1. The company is already up a lot in the last few days and the volume has picked up by 20 times. Is it worth the risk?

Q:
Sphere 3D (any: tsxv) is not a 3d printing company but rather in the cloud space. It has contracts with Corel.

The company has done a private placement at $3.35. Share price is at $4.30. Is this not a good sign ? The market cap is only around $75 million with a low float count.

Regards,
Thomas

Q: Hi, I would like to know if you've looked at ANY and what you think of this 3D printing technology. Could this bring about the next industrial revolution? I am very tempted to go there with a few $$. DDD, ANY, and now a new ETF (ROBO) covering robotics has come onto the market...how to play? Your thoughts, please. Regards

Q: Good afternoon, Peter & Co.
I guess this question goes far beyond the normal scope of this forum but I am having difficulty doing an analysis of the sector and the investment possibilities.
I would like your insight/opinions on the area of 3D printing and possible investments. I have done some work on 3D Systems (DDD) and Stratasys (SSYS). I assume investing in this sector would be speculative.
Thanks for your valuable insight and comments.

Q: Greetings, Team:

A commentator on BNN said that he was shocked that the jury in Texas took only one hour to decide the technically complicated WIN/Apple case. I suspect that the jury fell for the argument that the bottom-feeding CANADIAN company was attacking the glorious AMERICAN company. Any thoughts and is it likely to happen again?

Q: re. Zenn Motor (ZNN-V)

What is your considered opinion of the investment merits of Zenn Motor? I'm aware that the co. is developing (with an American partner) a new and, of course, a better electric battery for the auto industry. Would this be an interesting speculation, or is this just another high risk gamble with little chance of a pay-off any time soon?

Thanks for your insights.

Additionally, kudos for your call on MCR-V ... I've done very well with this stock after only 6 weeks.

Q: Hi, Good old Wilan,i'am thinking I would like to have the money they spent on legal costs!!They seem to be loosing a few battles at the expense of the share price. Are there any more to come? And can they ever get back to break even $5.30 in the next 2years ,on there own merit.
Thanks, Brad. P.S it's the only stock I got in your picks.

Q: WIN is indeed spelled LOST when it comes to a Texas jury...

Still worth keeping ? Are there enough redeeming features ?
Hope springs eternal ?

Q: I suspect that I am not alone in asking about WIN today. I’ve heard Peter exclaim many times that it is the most “frustrating” stock that 5i covers. I bought an have held it since your first A rated report and frustrated is exactly how I feel, particularly today. I saw the “financial update” they released this morning before the market opened and knew it wasn’t going to be pretty. I hate when companies issue those “it’s not that bad” news releases because I find it just spooks investors even more. I don’t know whether to bid good ridden to this one or to average down, but I am getting tired of the disappointments (even though it is thankfully just a very small part of my portfolio). What would you advise holders of the stock to do at this point? Is this a good time to buy in and average down? Thanks a lot and other than WIN your service has been a blessing to my portfolio.

Q: Hi Peter and team, feel free to remove this question if too many others have asked something similar. Regarding WIN, it looks like the company wasn't expecting a huge win in their court case, and the patent expired in a few months anyway. The stock is very frustrating, but I'm thinking it looks quite attractive at these levels. Is now a decent time to buy, or will there be a fair bit of tax loss selling to come?

Thanks
Alex
