Q: Hi. I'm looking for a couple of big, solid US tech names with growth which would be less likely to be impacted by any US-China trade spat. I already own AVGO, TXN, FB and GOOG.

Q: What are the prospects for TSLA..looks like it is slowly becoming an energy company as well. With the deal in Austrailia. I have a 1/3 position..is it time to add more?..I understand that this is a riskier stock.Thanks.

Q: Gentlemen, I would appreciate your comments on Tucows, I have done well on this investment. Wondering if the strong income growth is likely to continue.
Q: I have a small position in MU ... less than 1%.
It's up about 50% since I purchased about 8 months ago.
I'm concerned that as semiconductor prices are increasing, there may be increased production from other competitors and that the market may become oversupplied.
Should I hold on or is the stock becoming long in the tooth .. in which case should I sell?

Q: Hi, you had commented a while back on Market Call that you needed to "do more work" on AcuityAds to look at growth potential versus valuation. Since there there has been additional news, including an aquisition today as well as the opening of an office in Europe. Have you had a chance yet to look at the company in more detail, and if so what is your current view? The CEO looks top-notch to me and they seem to be laying out a good path forward to make this a much bigger company.
Q: Just a quick question on Sylogist. With a good amount of cash, no debt and a nice dividend, at what point - or more appropriately, at what price does one load up on shares? Even if they have a flat year or modest growth as they 'change', they seem very well positioned afterwards.
Thanks in advance,
J.

Q: Hello.
I have been looking for a Technology stock to enter. As per an earlier comment today, I too find prices high and given my own investor behaviour have not faired well with some of the high prices and volatility.
So looking at OTEX, would comment on some of the fundamentals. BMO shows P/e of 7.4 at current price. I have seen where you comment previously about positive position this Waterloo company finds themselves in the market. What may be expected of OTEX going forward if bought today?
If there is more you can add to buying high priced names and how to hang on through volatility, it would be great. The only way I can do this is to buy and sell on 5i actions.....which is somewhat inappropriate expectation to place on this service.
Always good responses.
Thanks
Dave

Q: Hi Peter et al
I’m overweight in the technology sector due to significant growth (20% of portfolio) and am thinking of trimming. I currently have ENGH, CSU, AAPL, NVDA and GOOG in fairly equal weighting. I’m not sure whether to sell one of these outright, or just trim one or two back. I’d appreciate your thoughts. With the proceeds, I am considering adding CGNX to my Industrials, which currently includes SIS, WSP and NFI. Do you think CGNX would be a good addition, or can you suggest another CDN or U.S. stock to add in this sector? Thanks so much!

Q: I know that u.s. stocks are not part of you preview but I thought asking about this company may spark some interest as it looks to be a part of the new manufacturing processes and may have some good upside that shows on its five year chart...thanks
Q: Would you switch from KXS to CSU at this time?
