Q: Can I have your thoughts on the semiconductor industry at present? Is it late in the cycle or plenty of growth ahead in the next year or two? Thank you as always.
Q: Follow up question to SHOP share offering. Can shop sell this into the market at what ever frequency they want over the next year, or does it have to be larger block trades? How is the sale of the shares communicated to shareholders?
Q: Hi, The secondary has been priced @US$91. Following is the stated purpose:
"Shopify expects to use the net proceeds from the Offering to strengthen its balance sheet, providing flexibility to fund its growth strategies. Pending their use, Shopify intends to invest the net proceeds from the Offering in short-term, investment-grade, interest-bearing instruments or hold them as cash."
So open text has missed expectations and is down significantly. Is the earnings miss their usual miss that happens regularly with this company or is more going on here. I have usually bought this stock on the dips but the miss was more that just a minor miss this time. Your thoughts.
Q: Can you rank the stocks best to worst in your opinion. These are the stock s that are in my technology sector (17% weighting). Would you add, swap or remove any of them? My portfolio holdings/thoughts are very similar to your BE Portfolio. Thank you and great job.
Q: Hi Team,
Could you please rank from "best to worst" which account to hold Robo Global Robotics & Automation ETF (ROBO) - my choices are $US cash, $US RRSP, and $US TFSA. Thank you. Michael
Q: So I sold my nvda under $100 because there was so much talk of it being overvalued. Now it is flying like a rocket. Debating if I should get back in. Is the rocket flying of nvda justified or it will come crashing down just as fast?
Q: Hi Team,
I believe the short interest in Shopify is now about 4.77% of the US float. Do you have any guidance on when the short interest can become large enough that the stock could become the victim of a short attack? I also know that SHOP has a fair bit of cash on hand and no debt, which may help protect it. Any thoughts you have about how a short interest in SHOP, or more generally any company, might become debilitating for a stock's price would be appreciated.
Thank you, Michael
