Q: Good morning! I am down 6% in Qualcomm - with the issues it is having today, would it be a good idea to get out or do you think it will rebound? Thanks so much!

Q: Your views on Frankly Inc. Beacon just initiated today with an interesting report about the Company's potential. Impressed to see them raise 23M dollars for a start up tech fund listed on the TSX-V. What do you know (or think) of the players involved (SSK Planet, Stanford University, JJR Private Capital). Would you recommend this stock for a speculative position in a portfolio?
Q: With Facebook at 45 x p/e per Bloomberg and in the same US classification as Google, internet service provider, I am wonder where FB would fine in the listing ranking GOOG, AAPL, ORCL, CSCO, MFST and INTC?......Thanks
Q: The following is a comment you made earlier. I am wondering if this pertains to the stock ET or the etf.
Any way, I am also interested in acquiring ET, and if this is the case, what would you consider an appropriate stink bid, and should this be put in place thanks
Thanks for your usual good service
"However, sometimes the price will go down during the day, and not all ETF managers utilize market at close trading. Thus, putting in a stink bid on a stock can sometimes get you a good fill. We always find this trading interesting, because it is a time when fundamentals do not matter. Index players simply trade because of the index, meaning good companies can trade more cheaply on occasion without any change in their prospects. "

Q: Yahoo has about $37B in Alibaba. An Activist Investor who owns about 7.7M Yahoo shares is pushing Yahoo CEO/Marissa to release some of that value to her shareholders and she has committed to outline her Alibaba plans by Wednesday. I'm thinking of Buying some of the stock. what do you think.
Thanks Austin

Q: SYZ has been taking quite the beating lately. Any reason why? Has anything fundamentally changed with the company? I currently hold it (bought at $9.75), but am debating selling it and buying DSG instead. What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Jordan

Q: Could you comment on the impact of a low and declining Canadian dollar on growth by acquisition stories like CSU, DSG ,and ESL.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Would RFMD be a wise buy for profits.Dividends & Growth. Eddie.
Q: What to you think of Amiee Chans move to croos list Norsat on the NYSE.After the consolidation there are only 5 million shares outstanding, doesn't make much sense to me unless you are trying to maybe sell the company? Appreciate your opinion.
thanks Gord
thanks Gord
Q: Hey Folks, In a recent response you liked OTC. I hold a few of the larger Canadian tech names, including CGI. How does its growth profile compare to OTC? I also noticed that CGI has had tons of insider selling over the past year. How concerned should I be about that? Thanks for you comments.
Q: Current campaign for 3D TV supposedly to provide boost. Stock range bound at historic lows. Your opinion of potential?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Up 50% on KXS. Looking to raise cash. Do you see it fully valued with consideration of growth.
Q: One pundit who is long CGI Group, as am I, thinks 2015 is the year this company makes a large takeover which ought to give the stock a big boost. How likely is that and how much cash are they sitting on since they pay no dividend yet seem to have been profitable for many years? I've held this stock since 2013 in US $ which of course has limited the appreciation and I'm wondering if I should continue holding for this possible event or fold sale proceeds into one of the current tech holdings and if the latter, which 1 or 2? Current p/f weight of GIB is 1% and other tech holdings (total 12%) are CSU 4% AYA 3% ESL, MDA, AAPL all 1% and SYZ and AVO 0.5%. We are in our late 60's, retired, but can take some risk in this area. Thanks to 5i for the handsome gains in most of these names except AVO (so far), J.
Q: Hello, Peter and the team,
I hope you have had a restful week end. Reviewing my portfolio I noticed that I am under-weighted in IT sector (about 3% holding GIB.A), and am thinking to add either CSU or OTC. What do you suggest between them based on risk/reward point of view, or you have other name to suggest for one to two years of holding time? Thanks,
Lin

Q: In looking at the most recent results from SYZ it would appear that the stock is trading at 10x sales and an EV/EBITDA of over 25x. Do you not find this expensive for a company that only grew its EBITDA by 15% last year?
Q: SYZ is getting pounded today. would you say further negativity from the most recent earnings report? You mention it was decent and are optimistic about future growth... however, it's down nearly 15% right now. possibly, insiders selling? would you revise forecasts further down given their proximity to Alberta oil.
Q: Hello Peter &Co.:
I want to increase the tech sector of my Canadian stock portfolio. Right now it is at around 11%. I own just 2 stocks, CSU and DH. What is your next best pick for a solid tech company? A mix of stability and growth is what I'm after, nothing too risky. Thanks for the fantastic service. cheers
