Q: My Tech sector, which comprises ESL, OTC, & SVC has been doing pretty good lately. Am thinking of adding GIB.A. Would you advise dropping any of the above in favour of GIB.A? Any of them getting a bit tired? Really appreciate your insight.

Q: I have held SPDR Health Care E.T.F. XLV-N for some time. At this time, it is a hold or sell? Going forward for a longer term horizon, Is there another US ETF that I should take a position in?
Q: Hello again gurus!
I am interested in increasing my US holdings.
I presently hold the Vanguard Total Market and like its very low MER. I intend to add to my US holdings. What is your opinion of the BMO's ZWH?
Would you suggest that I simply add to my Vanguard Total Market Fund or put my new money into something like ZWH which, while it has a higher MER, also has a higher dividend?
Either way, I intend to buy and hold the ETF's.
Thanks.

Q: Technology
The following report was published this am by TD Waterhouse, and I although I have similar confidence I was wondering if you agree. Also what else would you recommend, I currently have ESL which is performing quite well, was considering Kxs and would this be appropriate for an RRSP. Should we be considering a US holding
I look forward to your usual excellent response.
"The technology sector has, in our view, taken over market leadership within the
broader U.S. equity market. Not only do we see relative price strength in the S&P
500 Technology large-cap sector, but also in the S&P 600 Technology small-cap
sector. Other growth sectors do not exhibit this wide breadth in relative price
strength. This has become most evident in the healthcare sector, which has lost
market leadership, in our view, and in the consumer discretionary, where small-cap
names are exhibiting very poor relative price strength. In addition, the technology
sector has historically been highly insulated from potentially rising interest rates
and higher commodity prices, unlike consumer stocks. It also has less relative
sensitivity to a rising U.S. dollar. We continue to take the view that the market is
closely following the sector rotations of the later 1990s — a period when the
technology sector dominated performance (also in a rising U.S. dollar and interest
rate environment). We would not expect the technology sector to enter into a
speculative bubble as we saw at the end of that cycle, but we do expect its relative
strength to continue. We are well overweight technology in both our large- and
small-cap model portfolios.
Following its positive Q4/F15 results (year-end September) and the
subsequent upward revisions to F2016 ($3.43 to $3.47) and F2017 ($3.62 to
$3.75) consensus EPS estimates, we are raising our position in CGI Group
Inc. (GIB.A-T, $56.90) to 3.0% from 1.9%".

Q: Good morning,
I currently hold SPY, VIG and IWO for US exposure in equal amounts representing 8% of my portfolio. Would you recommend switching to/ or adding to these the specific ETFs that you outlined for tech, consumer discretionary and industrial sectors? Also, what portfolio % might you aim for in US currently.
Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter and 5i Team,
I really enjoyed Peter's appearance on BNN yesterday, and was pleased that some 5i members called in. DSG was one of the "Top Picks", and I'm wondering how "close" KXS came to be chosen as an alternative top pick in the Technology space.
Also, according to the TMX website,KXS has a beta of 1.845, while DSG has a beta of -.025. Is this perhaps why DSG made the "Top Pick" grade, or is beta a less important metric in this case? Or was DSG chosen because KXS is in the more volatile Growth Portfolio, whereas DSG is in the more stable Balanced Portfolio?
Thanks for the tremendous service, recommendations, and advice.

Q: Can I get your updated opinion.
Q: Given the comparable valuations would it make sense to sell my position in Enghouse and buy an equal weighting in Descartes so as to remain in the tech sector? That is to say does Descartes have a larger gain ahead of it over the next 1-2 years?
Thanks
Robert
