Q: the insider buying by tsgi 4 top execs was very impressive nov.27 at prices 5 dollars higher than where the stock is today, and i agree the leverage to the upside in better markets is huge, on the other hand another one of your favorites kxs has seen consistent insider selling, month after month and this sicard boasting about how great their doing in globe article, yet he is the biggest seller of all, can you comment, why do you like kxs when you see this. dave

Q: I have some US funds I'd like to put to work in one or two of the mentioned names taking them from a half weight to a full 5% position. Regardless of sector weightings, which 2 do you like the most at current market valuations for capital appreciation over the next 5 to 8 years in a growth oriented portfolio? Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i team,
All these four stocks have come down in value to different degrees. Based on projected earning growth, balance sheets, and value, which two of the four above should have the strongest rebound next year? Which two will be your preference for a 2 year hold? Would now be a good time to pick up these stocks? Thanks.

thanks for a great service

Q: Hello Peter
15% of my total portfolio are HQU shares. 18% of them are in non registered acct. and rest 82% are in TFSA & RRIF's accts. I am down on them 27%.
My question is: because most of my HQU shares are in registered accts. there is no tax losses on them, what would you do in this situation ,sell all and wait 30 days for repurchase if they go down or hold on to them for next couple of years.
thanks Andrew

Q: so when someone asks you aquestion would you purchase tsgi or gc for a3 year hold you chose gc, does that mean your backing away from tsgi, i would not blame you because something is definitely wrong with tsgi.
also would you buy more shopify right here considerably below the fund raise, i already own 750 shares and it has been just about the only tech stock that has performed lately. dave

Q: Hi team,
I was waiting for volatility to subside before I asked this question, but that may never happen. I was reading the transcript of the SQ conference call some time ago and something caught my attention, but this is not a SQ question. It is an EB question. In her comments on the financials, Friar noted It was Square’s 1st Q of GAAP profitability with a net income of $20M. She said the reason for the positive quarter was SQ marking to market their investment in EB after its recent IPO. Otherwise, SQ had a loss of $70M. What are your thoughts on EB? Despite the tech wreck the fall, EB has held up quite well. I have read some positive reports on it and SQ has invested in it. By the way, I am not likely to buy EB at this time, as there are a lot of great stocks on sale lately. Just curious on your thoughts for the future.
Thanks again,
Dave

Q: Crypto mining has driven NVDA's stock price for some years now, but its currencies' decline will surely take a heavy toll on GPU sales into that market. Yes, AI and autonomous vehicle applications could expand, and consumers will continue to play video games, but are these enough to create actual earnings growth, or is NVDA more likely to tread water for a few years?
