Q: Hello 5i,
I've done well with Shopify and Amazon with SHOP being up over 1000%. Lucky me!
They now collectively make up a little under 10% of my holdings. Everything I see says "better days ahead" so I don't mind holding on to them being a long term holder.
What do you think, is my exposure too concentrated?
Thanks in advance.

Q: Hi my Portfolio Analytics shows I should be targeting "Risk-Managed Growth", with a technology % of about 16%. I'm currently at 24% and # of holdings have gotten out of hand resulting in low % in most holdings. I need more US and International exposure versus Canadian overall.
Current holdings are CSU (3%), LPSD (1.9%), LHX (1.8%), WELL (1.7%), STC (1.4%), NVDA (1.4%), RPD (1.3%), PNG (1.2%), KEYS (1.1%), AYX (1%), PINS (1%), RUBI (0.9%), ADBE (0.8%).
1. I'm surprised to see LHX and PINS as tech - I thought they'd be industrial and consumer disc (I'm low on both). Do you agree?
2. What would you suggest I do to consolidate? I'm not concerned about trading commissions so don't worry about minimizing changes, just would like your best overall suggestion for a group of holdings to meet the "risk-managed growth" profile with a bent towards US stocks (since I see tech as a better place to go to US versus some other sectors.

Q: Hi team ,
I am down 24% on square . Is it time to sell, hold , or buy more? In my opinion it’s being punished for no real reason, and still believe in its growth rate and potential disruptor status .

Call this a 2 part question as well and charge me credits accordingly . Do you believe in this current “market rotation” gimmick ? To me the current growth companies are still the current growth companies . It seems these days that the big traders on the market get together for a coffee before market open and conspire together to decide “what’s the theme of the week today ?”. I don’t understand it all but this last Monday for example was grossly obvious how crooked the “market “ can really be . Ayx for example : you can’t tell me that over the weekend that company is suddenly worth 15% less come Monday morning . In my opinion it’s a sad platform we all play on here , but at the end end of the day it seems the best strategy is to buy a best in class company and hold it long term , unless the fundamentals change , cause the market is so obviously manipulated every day .

Your thoughts please would be appreciated . ThAnks !

Q: Hi Peter

Sorry to come back on this issue of yestersay's AYX share price drop, but I found the stmnt below on TD's newswire. Could you please comment on the stmnt? If the ceo had sold the rest of his shares he would of gained > $5M. The stock lost > $2B yesterday. I don't understand the transaction. Is this a common situation and if so, I wonder why the stock fell so far.
Many thanks for your insights.

"Alteryx (AYX) slid 15.5%. A regulatory filing showed company president and chief revenue officer Robert Jones sold 1,599 of the data analytics company's common shares at $146.53 apiece after exercising an equal number of recently vested restricted stock units at $27.09 each. Jones pocketed a $190,985 profit from the transactions and continues to directly own 42,150 Alteryx shares."

Q: As the SOXX, iShares PHLX Semiconductor ETF is approaching it's all time high, PHO is bouncing along close to it's 52 week low. I understand the lag in spending from the semi companies showing up in PHO earnings, though it seems to me investors are paying up for forward earnings in semi companies but not PHO? Are similar companies to PHO experiencing the same fate or is this company specific? Do you have examples of similar companies to share?

Q: Is .37 the price to get aggressive on this company? On their recent conference call they

expressed the opinion that at the current price which was around .42 there was little downside risk. How do you react? What could they conceive
ably do to turn the sentiment around? If there is continued negative news about the trade wars affect on the worldwide economy how might this affect a stock like Martello? I am thinking about a three year hold.
