Q: I have held TCEHY for some time and am roughly flat. With their strong presence in online gaming and AI, I wonder if TCEHY has a bright future ahead of it and I should continue to be patient or should I take this opportunity to trade up .....maybe to a US Tech company that has been beaten up (I already own KXS, CSU, OTEX, SHOP, CGI, AAPL, GOOGL) offering greater upside. Your thoughts.

Q: Question about ZM,

I know you mentioned in an old comment that ZM is trading at a crazy ~20x sales multiple... is that forward sales estimates and is that incorporating the recent surge of sales due to COVID?
I know it is a hyped stock, but in the last 2 weeks I went from not knowing about zoom to all my work life being through zoom and now my social life as well though group zoom chats. I know from a work perspective I will keep using zoom... it seems like a large chunk of the developed world has been recently introduced to their product (and it is a good product)

When have estimates been revised, what are the forward sales and earnings multiples now, and do you think it is a buy?

Q: Hi,

I have a small position in Sangoma and am considering selling and adding to another tech company. Going forward however do you consider the macro space in which Sangoma operates to be a driver for growth or would you see other tech companies with greater potential and if so, a few names would be helpful. I recognize Sangoma is a small company.

Thanks

Q: I am interested in the performance of these 2 stocks before and during the current conronavirus environment.
I would have thought that AYX would have fared better, since it has about 3 time the market capitalisation. I acn't articulate the other factors which have given me a gut feeling that AYX was inherently stronger. But KXS seems to have held up better.
Grateful for your insights on the comparative recent performance of these two.

Q: Hope everyone at 5i is doing well in these times!

I have been sitting on mostly cash in my RRSP/LIRA and would like your recommendations on the best ETFs to consider for my full US and International exposure. All of these would need to be listed on the TSX as I am purchasing in CAD $. While I know you prefer non-hedged, I’d greatly appreciate if you could explain benefits/workings of hedged vs. non-hedged considering the current environment. And provide ETF recommendations for each.

I am looking to achieve a balance of diversification, reasonable MER, minimizing any withholding tax while optimizing the potential in market recovery. For US, I would like to have a technology ETF, health care ETF and a broader spectrum ETF – but also open to ideas. Also, looking for recommendations on International – one broad ETF or perhaps that and a mix of ETFs. I recognize there can be overlap (e.g. between a tech and broad sector fund), so if you can give me a sense of the degree of duplication that may be present in your recommendations. Perhaps going heavier on tech right now could be a good thing.

While I started off thinking ETF selections would be relatively simple, in reading various Q&A there seem to be many important considerations - your assistance is appreciated. Again, all of these are being purchased in RRSP/LIRA accounts with the goal of optimizing my returns over a 10 year window.

Q: In this market, is Absolute one to worry about. Is the dividend covered? Do they still have lots of cash? If there is a possibility they will cut the dividend, I dont want to see my investment cut in half with no dividend and I will bail now.
