Q: I recall 5i stating in 2020 that DSG, KXS and PHO, all have no debt and significant cash reserves. Can you recommend 3 other good Canadian and 3 American growth stocks in a similar position.
Thanks you.

Q: Hi 5i team,
A number of companies show up regularly on your favourite lists, which seems to be a popular feature with your subscribers. I have held SPLK in the past. It has been well over a year since any question on it. A lot of analysts are quite positive on SPLK in the big data and cybersecurity space and it doesn’t seem crazy expensive for a tech stock. Obviously, all can’t make the top tier lists. I am curious on your view on SPLK and what keeps it from making the cut.
Thanks again for the insight.

Q: Have some money in a RRSP to invest and committed to continue investing in Constellation Software.

With the upcoming spin-off, Topicus, should I buy Constellation after the dividend/spinoff, or are we better off buying more of Topicus because it's essentially an earlier and smaller version of Constellation which means it's more likely to grow faster on a percentage basis.

Also are there any concerns with it being primarily in Europe versus Constellation which is much more diversified between geographies?

Q: The company will have slower revenue growth and profitability for the next 1 year or so as they transition their customers to the cloud. Short term pain for long term gain, at least thats their expectation. Still highly profitable, over 2B cash in the bank and investing heavily in their business. Would you suggest holding through this transition, stepping aside for a few quarters or using this as an opportunity to bulk up a long term position?

Thanks.

Q: Hi,
Marvell announced today they will take over IPHI. As I hold IPHI, I would welcome you're thoughts on what you feel is the best course of action now. If you were holding this stock, would you continue to do so, or try to cash in on the jump that one might expect after such an announcement? Thanks for all your great advice!

Q: Can you please provide an updated view on FSLY? I have ridden the rollercoaster back to where I started and would like some insight from you in order to help me make a decision to hold or sell. I am growth-focused and therefore not overly concerned with risk, but I don't want to continue holding it without a reasonable shot at recovering the growth it has shown earlier this year. I believe that my portfolio is well diversified, including exposure to other stocks in FLSY's segment. Thanks.

Q: After scanning 5I questions for the best fit for my daughters LIRA which she will not need for 20 years and will not be contributing to it, we settled on VFV,VEE,and VUN. That leaves room for a tech ETF for the remaining. Considering:
XIT.TO but the MER is high at 0.61% vs. TEC.TO which is a TD ETF
product with an MER 0.35%. Are there any others to consider or which
would you choose and why?

Q: Hi,

I have a very small spec position in Bitfarms who secure cheap power and lease state of the art computing power to mine bitcoin. They promote their good "mining margin" and "mining profit" (non-IFRS measures) however they still show a net loss (Q2 2020). Could you give a non-accountant like me the readers digest version of where all the money vanishes between the "mining profit " and the net loss. Also, your view on future prospects for BITF would be appreciated. I am up 40% on a small investment - take the money and run or does this thing have the potential to be one of those 2 or 3x home runs? I feel compelled to add that I believe my #1 investing mistake is selling too soon. Perhaps more than 1 question so deduct as required,
