Investment Q&A
Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.
Q: I am thinking of selling half the position before earnings or would you recommend holding through tax loss selling. Do you have a replacement suggestion for a long term income account. Keith
Q: which one would you side with? With the space theme growing in interest would like exposure to the sector to catch any tailwinds over the next 5+ years. If there are other names worth exploring please do advise
Q: What do you view as the likelihood of AXON acquiring CLBT? They have a partnership in place and with CLBT looking for a new CEO, AXON might see an opportunity.

Q: I’m hopeful that 5i can help with sector rebalancing in our combined accounts. Portfolio Analytics currently indicates that Technology is now 20.85% of our portfolio, but recommends a target of 16%.
Of course, this is due to 5i’s recommendation of CSU, which in turn led to positions in LMN and TOI. We’re certainly grateful for this!
In addition to the three stocks cited above, we also have positions in these ETFs, followed by the percentage weighting in the Technology sector:
XCS - 4.68%
VEF - 10.37%
VFV - 33.77%
Is this overweight position in Technology something we should be concerned about? If this was your portfolio, what would you do? We are seniors (76 and 81), and both of us have defined benefit pension plans.
Thanks as always for your insight.

2. Which are the best in class to weather the storm ?
3. Who is the Most Vulnerable To successful lawsuits against or breakup?
4. Best Pick/Picks To Buy and Hold Going Forward??
Thanks,

Q: Good Day Team,
I am down 50% on LSPD at an average cost of 51CAD/share.
I figure if LSPD is sold today even at $30CAD/share, I would lose about 40% of the original investment which is about 2.25% of the total portfolio.
I can average down with enough funds to break even if the company is sold at $30 CAD. My hesitation is what if the company is NOT sold. I am sure the price will halve from where it is now. I am pretty sure you would hold and would suggest not to throw good money after bad.
Yet, I would like to ask for a high risk investor, would this be too risky a move?
Thanks as always!

Q: If no one has already asked, please comment on CrowdStrike. Thank you.
Q: Has anything changed at KEYS? The share price has been pretty strong since July. Does their manufacturing occur mostly inside the US. I feel the USD is going higher courtesy of Trumponomics which will make it harder to export US made goods. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Q: Opinion on Zenatech (zena) on nasdaq
Q: Can I get some context surrounding the recent announcements, the stock price movement, and what all of this might mean?
Q: Hi 5i,
Now that the cancelled Analyst Day has long past and LSPD share price continues to creep up, has there been any news on your radar that might give a hint or clue as to whats happening with the name?
Is 5i able to comment insider trading activities?
Would 5i continue to hold at current price?
Thx

Q: Hello
Vertiv Holding stock dropped yesterday 10%, apparently, after it was reported that an Independent Director, Steven Reinemund sold 100,000 shares on Nov 20 at an average price of $137. But it was also reported that he still holds 268,333 shares.
You also mentioned about a suit filed against the Co, Friday last week, which, in your view is not material.
We sold our holding earlier this year and intend to take advantage of the drop to restart a position at current level ( $132-133), for long term, due to Co's unique place in managing the data centre infrastructure.
What do you think ?
Thank You

Q: Hi team,
What potential , if any do you see in Rblx currently? The shares have been making a slow recovery lately. Wondering if there’s a big future yet for this name, if they have areas to monetize in such as advertising on the platform? Or partnering with someone like meta for a VR metaverse future? Would you rank buy, hold , or sell today ?
Thanks
Shane
