Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Good morning. Would it be fair to say that CSU is basically the tech version of BN? BN has, what six or seven children and CSU now has a set of twins. Do you see CSU continuing to give birth to more children?

And if so, at what point would you rather just own the kids and let the parent go, if ever?

Q: Regarding the CEO news for Topicus CEO Robin van Poelje disclosing a temporary role as Chairman and CEO at Your.world. you comment to Frank
"It is fairly bizarre but we are sure Mr VP and TOI have some sort of plan thought out. A future acquisition wouldn't surprise us much. But there is really no information other than a brief press release to go on here."

MORE INFO:
- Your.World and your.online are owned by Strikwerda Investments (Netherlands) Robin is married to the owners daughter and worked for Strikwerda who founded and sold TSS (Total Specific Solutions) to Constellation in 2013 (the family agreed to sell TSS so long as they could retain a 33% minority interest and Robin could remain as CEO) and as you know merged into what we know as Topicus in 2021.

Q: Hi,

I know these are some of your favorite cyber security stocks. All of them have drifted down recently. Your uncanny call for FTNT's price of 59 has been reached AND breached!

What would be your new entry points fr these? Please feel free to add any other name if you feel it is warranted.

Q: Hi 5i,
I imagine you might get more than a few questions about CTS this week.
I've got quite a bit tied up in it in a TFSA, and keep waiting for my loss to lessen so that I can sell less painfully and move on (as I don't have much faith in the name overall). Today's earnings make me wish I'd already done so.
Please advise what you envision for this name over the next couple of quarters, if you don't mind giving that short term view.
Thanks,
Peter

Q: I see the ZM trades at a decent valuation and has a fair bit of cash. P/B, P/S, and P/E are presently much cheaper than the past.
For a value investor, is ZM a decent investment? Morningstar labels is it with a Narrow moat, although it is rated a Hold. How competitive is the industry? With all that cash, could it not add on other areas of growth.
Technically it appears to have good support around $59.
Your thoughts?

Q: I own this stock, have bought it at a low price so I'm still even on it. Don't need the cash but don't want a dog either. Do you think this has long term upside ? Buy, sell or hold ?
